​​PleasantvilleRecycles is proud to be recognized with a 2013 Earth Day Recognition Award for bringing a zero waste initiative to the annual Pleasantville Music Festival. In addition the Village of Pleasantville was presented with an award for attaining the highest pounds per person per day recycling rates in Westchester County... We are a Village of Pleasantville committee that seeks to improve and expand recycling and sustainability in our community. We develop and advocate for new and enhanced programs to reduce, re-use, and recycle. We are working towards increasing the understanding of Pleasantville's current recycling and sustainability programs through better community education. Our committee meets once a month to discuss and assess existing and future initiatives in Pleasantville and beyond... Pleasantville, Westchester County, and many businesses and charities offer a wide range of recycling and sustainability opportunities. Our goal is to raise awareness for these programs..
