Ms. Meeks has served individuals with intellectual challenges for over 40 years, including in group homes, adult development programs, independent living programs and K-12 education. Potentia Academy was incorporated in the State of Florida in 2009 as a private K-12 school and complies with all state laws and regulations governing the operation of private educational institutions. Potentia currently serves middle and high school grade levels. The Internal Revenue Service has awarded Potentia Academy a nonprofit determination as a 501-(c)-3 corporation. All donations to the school are tax deductible.
