POPLAR LANE FARM

The owners have been involved with horses during their entire lives. Jane Southgate showed hunter ponies and horses as a junior on the Ontario A circuit winning year end CEF awards for champion hunter pony with Stormy Weather. Also Jane was the first junior to be awarded Hunt Colours with the Eglinton - Caledon Hunt Club. Jane has also shown dressage to the St George level with two horses from the breeding program - Bazarov and Millcroft. In fact Millcroft was eventually sold to new owners in Germany... Jane has also been active in recent years driving large and small ponies in pleasure driving and combined driving events. The ponies have won at the Carriage Classic, Walnut Hill and the RWF.
