We are a small micro-roaster based in San Diego, CA. We care about the quality of the beans we roast! This means that we roast our coffee in small batches with controls on our Renegade Roaster that allow us to bring out the best characteristics of each of the coffee beans we offer, for the best tasting cup of coffee... We also have a maintenance and manufacturing company for roasting equipment. Ponderosa Roasting Maintenance & Mfg was our first company. We started out working on other peoples roasting equipment and still do that to some degree even now. Our other company is Renegade Roaster Design Group and that is our roaster sales company. We are the manufacturer the Renegade Roaster and that's how I started roasting coffee. After years of working on other manufacturers equipment we started manufacturing our own coffee roasters based on what we saw a need for in the industry. I started roasting because you can't have roasters without roasting!... The other goal is to have coffees..
