RED BEARD GRAPHICS

Founded in 2014, Red Beard Graphics is the home of creative director Chad Townsend. Chad holds two journalism degrees plus almost 20 years of print design experience. His passion for design began in the early 1990s as co-editor of his high-school magazine, Spectrum. Back then, Chad cut his teeth on Aldus PageMaker and never looked back. While studying journalism at the University of Florida, Chad served as the co-editor of Orange & Blue magazine. As a graduate student at Indiana University, Chad create page layouts for the Indiana Daily Student and ultimately became the design director for the weekly supplement LUX. He also worked as a design intern for the Indiana University Alumni Association creating everything from postcards to newsletters to the 1996 IU homecoming logo.
