The story of Robertson begins in 1892, when Mr W. M. Dunn established the original family hardware company. Over the next century, the craftsmanship was handed down through the generations, diversifying into engineering and toolmaking, until three generations on, the company was re-established as Robertson Technical in 2000... We proudly champion British engineering and craftsmanship; from the initial design drawings to the hand finishing of each of our products, we oversee the production from beginning to end in our Surrey factory in southern England. We are committed to upholding British standards and by manufacturing every piece in Britain, we have greater quality control and the ability to deliver a great service. By drawing on local craft and materials, we sustainably manufacture products that are built to stand the test of time, lessening our carbon impact on the world.
