Shield Solutions LLC was created in 2013. Curiosity about school staff members carrying concealed has been running high throughout the nation since the December 14, 2012 school shootings at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. In the wake of this tragedy where 20 students and six teachers lost their lives when an armed gunman entered the public school, the perhaps once-unthinkable idea of arming school administrators, teachers and even non-certified staff as a legitimate policy fix for improving school safety has arisen... Our mission has always been to provide high quality training not only for law enforcement but for our school armed staff members. You want your children to be safe, it's our business to be their shield.
