Bob Harris

Bob comes to us from the OSHA Enforcement side of the house where he was a Safety Compliance Officer for 5 years. Prior to his service with the State of Nevada Bob was a Safety Manager at a local hotel/casino for 2 years and a Safety Manager for Lockheed Martin for 13 years prior to that. Bob is also retired from the United States Air Force where held numerous positions in the field of facility maintenance and construction. Bob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from UNLV.

Kelly Baetz

  • Training Supervisor
Kelly joined the State of Nevada, Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) as a Safety Specialist in September 2011. In February 2014, he was promoted to Training Supervisor for the Henderson/Las Vegas and Reno offices. Kelly has completed the Safety and Health Practitioner Certificate and is an authorized trainer for both OSHA Construction and General Industry 10 and 30 hour outreach courses. His educational background includes two Associates degrees , one in Construction Management and the other in Safety Management. Kelly brings a wide range of experiences and other qualifications with him to include: Twenty two years in the Army and Army National Guard (Retired) and held many Safety Officer responsibilities. Fifteen years of Mining Industry with a focus on Safety Training. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) instructor since 1993. Eight years working as a Safety Officer/ Safety Director and Safety Trainer for Construction Companies in the Las Vegas Area.

Luke Hendrickson

Stephen Rodgers

Job Titles:

Mr. Rodgers is a training specialist with over 30 years of field and classroom experience. His current position is Program Coordinator for Nevada's Safety Consultation and Training Section. Stephen's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and is near completion of a Masters of Administration at Central Michigan University. He is also an authorized trainer for both OSHA Construction and General Industry 10 and 30 hour Outreach Courses and a National Safety Council Four Hour Defensive Driving Course instructor. He brings a wide range of experiences and other qualifications with him to include: Eight and a half years in various safety areas as a United States Air Force Officer in Missile Operations, C-130 Operations, and other Command and Control positions. Fifteen years in equipment operations training and consulting with a major equipment rental company added to his depth of experience. This directly lead to certification as a High Angle Rope Rescue Technician I/II and Search and Rescue team member for over 20 years. As a Chef and restaurant owner for 4 years he gained a great deal of experience in restaurant and kitchen safety.

Todd Schultz

Todd joined the State of Nevada, Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) as a Safety Specialist in September, 2004. He progressed through the ranks to become a Senior Safety Specialist-Consultation in just three short years, becoming the department's authority on OSHA general industry standards. In July, 2010 Todd Schultz was promoted to Consultation Supervisor of the Henderson/Las Vegas office with responsibility of managing seven senior safety consultants and two industrial hygienists. That office conducts nearly 400 OSHA On-site Consultation surveys per year. In April, 2013 Todd was appointed Chief Administrative Officer for SCATS. He manages all aspects of the Nevada Consultation program at the three office locations in Las Vegas, Reno and Elko. Todd is a 2004 graduate of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Management. Todd holds a CSP designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, a CSHM from the Institute for Safety and Health Management and is a Certified Public Manager.
