Spaltkinguitars is a small Canadian based guitar parts company. Located in the beautiful Eastern Townships of Quebec. We have over 15 years of hands on experience. We hand craft each guitar body and pick-guard out of the finest woods. We started this business because of our love of guitars, and our love of nature. There is so much be... Our specialty is Spalted Maple found around Quebec or from the big leaf maple trees of British Columbia. Though we dont stop there. We love finding Burl Maple, Bird's Eye Maple, Figured Walnut, and other beautiful woods for the tops of our bodies or pick-guards. Finding wonderful tone-wood for our guitars is also a top priority. In the summer months we visit lots of old farms looking for 100+ years Aged Pine for our Barncasters. We also search for Maple, Basswood and Cherry from local farms. Building beautiful looking and sounding guitars is our top priority!
