Adam Stickney is an associate with SSP's commercial litigation and healthcare law groups, with a practice focused on representation of clients involved in disputes related to commercial finance, creditors rights, estate & probate, contract and general business litigation, real estate and property claims, personal injury claims, and a broad range of medical and healthcare matters. Adam has established a winning track record, throughout Ohio, of successfully litigating cases through trial, and, when necessary, defending them on appeal. Prior cases Adam has litigated have established precedent-setting case law in Ohio's First and Second Appellate Districts, which has been subsequently cited in decisions by the Ohio Supreme Court.
In addition to his trial and appellate experience, Adam brings his extensive pretrial litigation experience, and winning motions practice to SSP. Adam's experience includes successful mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations, as well as drafting non-disclosure agreements, protective orders, and obtaining injunctive relief for his clients. Prior to joining SSP, Adam was an associate with a highly reputable, boutique Cincinnati area firm focused on healthcare, medical malpractice and insurance defense. Defense verdicts on matters Adam defended at trial involved cases of misdiagnosis of cholecystitis, surgical error, portal-venous-injury, intra-abdominal retained foreign bodies, and retrospective criticism of prospectively missed diagnoses in radiology reports and studies.
Adam's healthcare law practice includes a wide range of regulatory, administrative and transactional experience. He routinely counsels physicians and healthcare providers through the stressful processes of administrative and disciplinary investigations, board actions and hearings, credentialling issues, and quality assurance and peer reviews. He also counsels institutions, physician groups, and providers, on matters including federal and state regulatory compliance, data privacy, risk management, physician employment and compensation, medical office leasing, and corporate related matters.

Bailey is an associate attorney with Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson, where she concentrates primarily in employment law and litigation.
Bailey is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and Ohio Bar Association. She lives in Hyde Park with her husband, Matthew, and in her free time, enjoys traveling, playing tennis, cheering for her favorite sports teams, and spending time with friends and family.

Chris is an associate in SSP's litigation group where he focuses primarily on commercial litigation, real estate litigation, civil litigation, and corporate law. Chris has successfully litigated cases before federal and state courts.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board and a Corporate Law Fellow. He earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Dayton, where he was a member of the men's tennis team.
Jeff Stagnaro is a shareholder in the law firm of Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson, where his practice is focused on business, real estate, estate planning and probate. The vast majority of Jeff's clients consist of entrepreneurs and business owners-ranging from startups to privately/family-owned businesses with several hundred employees.
As general counsel to many of his clients, Jeff serves, not just as a lawyer, but as a strategic advisor. They rely on him for the kind of unfiltered advice they might not otherwise get, even from their own management team. Jeff regularly advises business owners on a wide variety of business matters, helping them see their business "from 50,000 feet up." Jeff's clients appreciate his directness, his experience in a wide range of circumstances and his practical, business-oriented approach.
Jeff is also a frequent lecturer on estate planning and probate topics, as these relate to family businesses and real estate entrepreneurs.
Jeff is a graduate of St. Xavier High School and a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. He is married with ten children and enjoys coaching youth athletics, camping, fishing, football, basketball and golf. Jeff regularly leads ministry teams on short-term mission trips to Guatemala.

Josh Smith is a shareholder at Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson, where he concentrates primarily in employment law and litigation.
Josh joined SSP's labor and employment practice group in 2014, after graduating from The University of Cincinnati College of Law Cum Laude and earning the school's Labor and Employment Law Award for his work and interest in the field. While in undergrad, law school, and in his first two years of practice, Josh also served in the U.S. Army Reserves, including a tour in Afghanistan from 2009-2010 as a military police officer in the 300th Military Police Brigade. And, for two of his years at UC law, Josh also served as a graduate student trustee on the University's Board of Trustees.
Josh represents a wide variety of clients in all aspects of employment, including defending employers from claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), discrimination laws (ADA, Title VII, ADEA and related state laws), and wrongful terminations, and breach of contract. Beyond litigation, Josh also assists clients in mitigating the risk of such claims by advising on policies and/or personnel decisions, reviewing, revising, and providing model handbook policies, assisting clients through workplace disputes, and providing training sessions for clients and their management teams on any number of common problem areas.
Josh enjoys counseling his business clients, including advising them on the application of state and federal law to their business, and providing advice on how to minimize the risk of liability. While Josh is well-equipped to defend his clients from employment-related claims, he takes pride in working early on to resolve such issues before they reach litigation.
Josh lives with his wife Erin, their daughter Lilian, and their dog Patches. During his free time, Josh enjoys a round of golf, hiking trips to Red River Gorge in Kentucky, and winter vacation trips with his family to Florida.

Kurt is an associate attorney with Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson Co. LPA. His practice areas include estate planning, elder law/Medicaid planning, probate administration, and small business planning and formation.
Kurt is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, Cincinnati Estate Planning Council, and St. Xavier High School Young Alumni Committee. He lives in Pleasant Ridge with his wife, Traci, and daughters, Emma and Grace. In his free time, Kurt enjoys playing golf, camping, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Paul Saba is a shareholder with the law firm of Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson, where he concentrates in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, creditor's rights, construction litigation, receiverships, and corporate law. He applies his business degree and vast and dynamic legal experiences to develop creative legal solutions and act as a valuable business partner for his clients.
Clients range from large publicly traded companies to individuals. Paul's real estate tax appeal practice ranges from portfolio-wide representation to individual properties, and he has successfully represented four of the premier country clubs in Cincinnati (where he was selected as counsel over all attorney club members).
Paul has successfully litigated, tried and argued several jury trials, bench trials and cases before the Supreme Court of Ohio, the Court of Appeals, Courts of Common Pleas, the Municipal Courts, the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, the Ohio Division of Real Estate, the American Arbitration Association, and various County Board of Revisions in Ohio. More than sixty of Paul's noteworthy cases have been published.
Paul is a frequent presenter and has lectured on real estate related topics and professional licensing issues for real estate brokers.
Peter Saba is a shareholder in the law firm of Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson, where he concentrates in commercial law, real estate, probate, commercial litigation, employment litigation, probate litigation, real estate litigation, wrongful death, medical malpractice and products liability. Peter has litigated, tried and argued cases before the federal courts, courts of common pleas, courts of appeals and Supreme Court of Ohio, as well as the federal court, circuit courts, and court of appeals for Kentucky and the circuit courts in Florida.
While the majority of Peter's commercial practice is primarily focused in the representation and defense of corporations and employers, he has also obtained multi-million dollar results for individual clients in other areas of his litigation practice. Peter and his wife Gina live in Hyde Park and have four children. Peter enjoys spending much of his free time coaching youth soccer and basketball.
Sean Donovan is a shareholder with the law firm of Stagnaro, Saba & Patterson, where he focuses primarily on commercial litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, personal injury, and contract and sales disputes. Sean has litigated, tried and argued cases before the Federal Courts, Court of Commons Pleas, and Courts of Appeals throughout Ohio, as well as the Circuit Courts in Kentucky.
While Sean's commercial practice is focused on the representation and defense of corporations and employers in commercial, contract, tort, and real estate litigation, he also represents parties in personal injury, construction defect, and landslide cases. Sean also counsels for-profit, not-for-profit, homeowners associations, and corporate clients in commercial, regulatory and other business matters.
