SWAMP BOTTOM BOER GOATS

Conviently located between I 95 and I 20 outside of Florence, South Carolina, this boer goat farm is easily accessed for anyone who wants to come and look around or ask questions. Like most, we started out "just" getting a few goats to eat down the weeds and now we are on a "work in progress", 80 acre farm with fullblood boer goats, chickens, guineas, ducks, "FREE" cats, etc... We sold 35 briar goats to buy 5 fullbloods in 2002. We have consistently attempted to move the boer goat industry in the right direction by responsibly breeding with the right quality animals and only offering papers for those worthy of a breeding program. The boer goat is a meat goat and we are ok selling for meat. When we went shopping for land to do "more" goats, we came to Timmonsville. The first time we went into the woods, we immediately ran in to the water from "Sparrow Swamp", thus this is how we came to call ourselves the Swamp Bottom Boers
