Over the last decade or so, there's been a lot of focus on skin protection. As we learn more about the different ways ultraviolet (UV) radiation affects our bodies, it's becoming more and more important to find better, more efficient ways to protect our skin... For years, the standard in sun-related skin damage has been sunscreen, or sunblock. Today, sunblocks offer a range of sun protection factors (SPF), with SPF's as low as 4 for those looking to build a tan and as high as SPF 110 for those looking for extreme sun protection... Sunblocks, while very effective, are not perfect, however. Sunscreen in the form of lotions and oils often feels creamy and oily and is difficult to apply on one's own, especially to the back. Most are made with aromas like coconut and ocean-scent, but are often over-powering.
