Chong Zin Nan Associate LL.B (Hons) Hertfordshire CLP 'Work hard play hard, you only live once' She is now handling a wide range of banking litigation as well as general civil litigation in the areas of debt recovery, construction disputes, commercial disputes, breach of contracts, divorce and matrimonial matters, probate and administration matters, bankruptcy and winding up proceedings.
BIBI CHONG ZIN NAN graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2015. She successfully obtained her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 2016 and completed her pupillage in Johor Bahru thereafter. Bibi was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in January 2018.
CHUA XIAN JIN graduated from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in July 2016. During her undergraduate studies, she was awarded the Dean's Honour Roll Merit Award for her first and second year and successfully obtained a First Class for her degree. She then further completed her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2017.
She joined Tia & Noordin in January 2018 and spent her term of pupillage under the supervision of our Managing Partner, Mr Chris Tia Poh Loong. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019 and is currently appointed as a Partner at our firm.
Her areas of practice include real property, estate-related transactions and she has experience in handling various housing development projects (commercial, residential and mixed property developments) for established developers as well as acquisition and disposal of properties in the secondary market by individuals. She also has experience in handling leasing/tenancy transactions, transfer/assignment of properties, preparation of wills, loan documentation and other matters related thereto in the field of conveyancing.
Further, she also handles and has exposure to litigation cases including general litigation, probate and administration of estates and family law matters.
Kiew Jia Hong Associate LLB (Hons) MMU 'Doubt is the key to knowledge' He believes that to become a great legal practitioner, one must have passion in developing his skills, be patient to listen to his clients and always stand in his clients' shoes to find the best solutions in solving their problems. He is also eager to learn and to adopt the innovative ways in handling the litigation matters in order to provide the best service to his valued clients.
LIM EE FANG graduated from the University of London with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) in 2016 and subsequently obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2017.
She commenced her pupillage in our firm, Messrs Tia & Noordin, under the guidance of our Partner, Ms Leong Yit Lian. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in January 2019. She continued her practice in our firm as an associate in the same year where she continues to explore and enhance her legal knowledge in the areas of conveyancing and litigation.
Ee Fang specialises in drafting and vetting agreements relating to sale and purchase transactions for developers, individual sub-sale agreements, tenancies and drafting of wills. On top of that, she is also actively involved in handling cases on civil litigation matters such as drafting and vetting a variety of cause papers, probate and administration of estates matters as well as family law matters.
Michelle Wee Chai Yee is committed to the pursuit of excellence.
Her extensive litigation background focusing particularly in the area of construction, insurance, goods sold and delivered, shipping and defamation supersedes her seniority at the Bar. Michelle has conducted multiple hearings independently and has also assisted senior counsels in conducting trials. She has successful experience in obtaining security for costs, summary judgment, winding up order and many others.
She is tenacious in developing effective strategies to protect the Firm's clients' business interests. Her exposure backed with her diligence and dedication, the Firm's clients can rest assured that they are in good hands.
Michelle possesses a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Queen's Belfast and a Professional Diploma in International Arbitration awarded by The Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators (MIArb). She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2019.

LEONG YIT LIAN (Carine) is from Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. She holds a LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in March 1998. Carine joined Messrs Tia & Noordin as an Associate in 2013 and thereafter became a Partner of the firm in 2021.
He is of more than forty (40) years standing and is knowledgeable in both criminal and civil matters. Presently, he is a Senior Legal Consultant in Tia & Noordin.
NOORDIN BIN HUSSIN was called to the English Bar in 1978 and is a member of Lincoln's Inn. Upon his return to Malaysia, he became an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP). He was also a prosecuting officer for the Police Force in 1979.
On the 8th of July 1980, he was called to the Malaysian Bar and worked as a Legal Assistant for Messrs Tan & Tan for a year. He then joined Messrs Leng & Co. from 1981 to May 1984. In 1984, he joined Mr Tia Chak Yit as senior partner to form Messrs Tia & Noordin and later become a senior legal consultant to the firm.

Nurul Farah Ain Binti Anuwar (Farah) is a graduate from MARA University of Technology, UiTM where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and she was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2022.
Her passion in law prompted her to undergo legal internships at law firms, namely Messrs. Shafee & Co. and Messrs. Fakhri & Co. which specialise in civil and criminal litigation. Later, during her pupillage she was exposed to bankruptcy litigation and conveyancing matters. She particularly assisted in sub-sale transactions and drafting documents relating to bankruptcy matters.
She later joined Messrs. Tia & Noordin as an associate in April 2022 where she specifically handles conveyancing matters.
Pang Wen Lei Partner LLB (Hons) Cardiff Middle Temple LL.M Cardiff 'Your focus determines your reality.' Wen Lei underwent her pupillage under the tutelage and guidance of our partner, Ms Leong Yit Lian, where she was primarily exposed to the practice of conveyancing, dealing with the sale and purchase of sub-sale properties and properties under development, tenancies, joint venture agreements, loan documentation and the drafting of wills, amongst others.
Tham Suet Leng Senior Associate LL.B (Hons) London CLP ‘Committed to Making the Difference' She has acted for and advised property developers in property transactions and development matters. She has also represented clients in corporate matters of acquisition of shares and businesses while also advising and representing clients on leases, tenancies, wills and trust matters. ‘Committed to Making the Difference'
THAM SUET LENG (Suet), was called to the Bar on 25th November 1996 and has over 15 years of experience in legal practice coupled with 7 years of experience in teaching and administration. She holds an LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of London.
Ms Tham served as a Legal Assistant in Messrs Ishak Sharif & Co. from February 1997 to August 2006 after her pupillage in Selangor and specialised in conveyancing, banking and corporate work, handling amongst others, property transactions, loan transactions and joint venture agreements.
After more than 9 years of practice, Ms Tham subsequently embarked on a career in teaching. She joined Alpha Omega Resources Sdn Bhd, a homeschooling centre offering the Alpha Omega Publications Programme to high school, middle school and elementary students, and was a teacher cum administrator from years 2007 to 2013, specialising in the English Language.
Ms Tham resumed legal practice in March 2014 and served as a Legal Assistant heading the conveyancing department in The Law Offices of CL Heng until December 2014.
Ms Tham has been retained as an Associate in our firm since 19th January 2015 and has been instrumental in the development of our conveyancing department. Her current portfolio includes handling corporate, banking and conveyancing transactions. She has acted for and advised property developers in property transactions and development matters. She has also represented clients in corporate matters of acquisition of shares and businesses while also advising and representing clients on leases, tenancies, wills and trust matters.
He started his own legal practice in 1976 under the name and style of "Tia & Co". Messrs Tia & Co was later dissolved and amalgated in the year 1981, with "Tay & Raman" and "Adam & Co.", thus forming "Adam, Tay, Tia & Mano". The Johor Bahru branch of Messrs Adam, Tay, Tia & Mano was later renamed "Tia & Noordin" in 1984.
Tia Poh Loong Managing Partner LL.B (Hons) Sheffield Lincoln`s Inn 'Excellence through perfection' TIA POH LOONG is not just the Managing Partner of Messrs Tia & Noordin, but one of the leading figures in Malaysia's legal community, especially in the conveyancing sector.
WENDY TING XIANG LING graduated with a Second Class Honours (First Division) from University of Essex. She pursued the Bar Professional Training Course and was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in July 2021. Wendy completed her pupillage in Johor Bahru and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 2022.
During her pupillage, Wendy was involved in the conveyancing area mainly specialising in the Corporate Banking area. She handled both conventional and islamic banking loan documentation.
She later joined Messrs Tia & Noordin in October 2022 as a Legal Associate where she handles developer projects, sub-sale properties, tenancies and loan documentation. Wendy is also involved in general civil litigation such as divorce and matrimonial matters and probate and administration of estate.
