Baj Mathur has been in health and social care for 25 years. He entered the field as his elderly mother suffered with dementia. Baj is keen to actively continue his charity work to support affected families. He has worked as an architect and town planner at senior level in the boroughs of Camden and Harrow. Baj retired in 1993 and has been involved in volunteering work ever since.

She has 30+ years of diverse managerial experience in different fields. She is committed to community work and has extensive experience of serving on the Executive boards of voluntary and public sector organisations. She was a Commissioner for the London Health Commission and a Non-Executive Director of Hillingdon Primary Care Trust.
