James graduated with a BEng in Electronics Engineering from the University of Surrey in 2005 and previously held a role as Applications Engineering Specialist at National Instruments, before joining Simplicity AI as a Systems Architect and IT Manager in 2010.
James has extensive knowledge in developing solutions for automated test and measurement, holding both TestStand and LabVIEW Developer Certifications.
In addition James has an excellent knowledge of IT systems management, covering both Microsoft and Linux servers, database systems and network infrastructure.

Jonathan graduated with an MEng in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, and previously held a role as an Applications Engineering Team Leader at National Instruments for over 3 years. In 2007 he joined Simplicity AI as a Systems Architect, taking a key role in designing and delivering advanced solutions for test and measurement.
Jonathan's technical excellence is demonstrated through the National Instruments TestStand Architect, LabVIEW Architect and Professional Instructor certifications that he has been awarded. His technical specialisations include advanced object orientated software architectures, LabVIEW FPGA development and RF measurement solutions.

Mark graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Surrey in 2011.
He joined Simplicity AI as a Systems Engineer in 2012, having previously completed an engineering internship at National Instruments and held the role of Systems Engineer at NDS.
Mark has a wide range of engineering expertise covering areas such as hardware design, embedded software, database design and .NET development.
He has a wide variety of test and measurement software experience, which is demonstrated by holding both LabVIEW and TestStand Certified Developer status.

Nicky keeps Simplicity AI's administrative processes and marketing activities running smoothly, working closely with other team-members. Her role includes internal auditing of the ISO9001 compliant quality management system.
She has a wide range of experience having held marketing and administrative roles at BMW and Oracle.

Phil graduated with a BSc in Physics from the University of Surrey in 2001 and previously held a role as Applications Engineering Team Leader at National Instruments. In 2005 Phil was appointed as Technical Director of Cyth Systems UK, another Test and Measurement solutions provider and National instruments alliance partner.
Phil's early career was heavily focused on developing advanced software solutions for automated manufacturing test, resulting in him becoming the go-to engineer for National Instruments TestStand and the first Certified TestStand Architect in Europe. In recent years Phil has also developed extensive expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies and database design, skills which have enabled him to spearhead the Tequra software suite project.

Simon graduated with a BSc in Physics from the University of Surrey and has previously held a role as an Applications Engineer at National Instruments for over 3 years. In 2005 Simon joined Cyth Systems UK as a Project Engineer working on embedded solutions for the defence industry and on automated manufacturing test systems.
In 2007 Simon formed Simplicity AI in association with Phil Rawlings, rapidly bringing in Jonathan Bowers to build a solid foundation for the engineering team. Simon splits his time at Simplicity AI between a number of business management activities and working on engineering projects. His engineering expertise includes automated test system software development, for which he holds Certified TestStand Developer status.
