Aditi Mas

Aditi Mas is a passionate board-certified Physician Associate. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the prestigious University of South Florida and later pursued a Master of Physician Associate Medicine at the University of Lynchburg in Virginia. Aditi Mas is a board-certified Physician Associate. Raised in Central Florida, she pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at the University of South Florida. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Associate Medicine at the University of Lynchburg in Virginia. Aditi is experienced with medical cosmetics and is trained in neurotoxins, fillers, and lasers. She is dedicated to being an asset to her patients in rejuvenating their skin while also enhancing their natural features. Outside of work, she loves all things Harry Potter. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and trying new foods - especially donuts.

Amy Bayon

She has a Bachelor's in Health Sciences with concentrations in biological and social-behavioral science and earned her Master's in Physician Associate Medicine at Keiser University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Amy Bayon is a board-certified Physician Associate through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associate (NCCPA) and is licensed to practice through the Florida Board of Medicine. She graduated from the University of South Florida with honors and received her Bachelor's in Health Sciences with concentrations in biological and social-behavioral science. She then earned her Master's in Physician Associate Medicine at Keiser University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Amy specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all skin, hair, and nail disorders and in the prevention of skin cancer. She also provides a variety of cosmetic procedures, such as neurotoxins and dermal fillers, in conjunction with establishing anti-aging regimens suitable for individual skincare needs. She is passionate about helping her patients feel comfortable and confident in their skin. To stay up to date on advances in modern dermatology, Amy stays active in various national, state, and local dermatology organizations. She is a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (FSDPA) and attends monthly journal club meetings with other dermatology providers in the Tampa Bay community.

Dr. Nicolas Aguila is a qualified dermatologist specializing in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. He graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. His patients trust him for exceptional dermatologic care tailored to their unique needs. Dr. Nicolas Aguila, MD is a Tampa native where he attended the University of South Florida and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then attended Florida State University College of Medicine where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Aguila completed his dermatology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. Dr. Aguila has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers but takes pride in treating a wide range of skin diseases and delivering individualized dermatologic care to patients of all ages. When not working, Dr. Aguila enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, fishing, and trying new restaurants.

Dr. Stanley Katz, MD is a tenured dermatologist with decades of experience and expertise. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Katz received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, graduating with the highest honors. He then went on to complete his internship at the Monmouth Medical Center. He pursued his dermatology residency at the Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital in Cleveland. With over 40 years of experience and his passion for dermatology, Dr. Katz has written several publications contributing to the field of dermatology. He has also been apart of numerous research projects and cutting edge clinical trials. Through all his work and dedication, he always keeps his patients in the forefront and strives to bring the best care possible. Harneet Sahni

Harneet Sahni, Ph.D. (Postdoctoral Fellow), received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Stony Brook University, and her Master of Science and Doctorate in School Psychology from Fordham University. She has experience treating a wide range of mental health concerns in various inpatient settings with individuals, families and groups of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Dr. Sahni is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Parent Management Therapy/Training (PMT), and Play Therapy, and will work with you to tailor the best, most effective treatment plan for your needs and goals. Dr. Sahni also utilizes art and music in her therapy, especially with children. She is additionally trained in psychological/neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Sahni believes that all individuals can see past their diagnoses if provided an inclusive, safe, compassionate environment which enables them to be resourceful, resilient, responsible and engaged world citizens. Jennifer de Rutte, M.A., is a clinical psychology doctoral student in the Health Psychology and Clinical Science program at the Graduate Center. She has experience in working with clients with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, adjustment issues, trauma, and behavioral addictions. Her research focuses on the intersection of mental health and technology, with specific focus on social media, and integrates her research expertise in this area into her work with clients. Her approach to therapy is integrative with a large focus on CBT principles and problem solving. She is committed to providing a supportive environment where clients can make practical changes to improve their mental health. Hayley Simon, B.A., is a Ph.D. candidate in Fordham University's School Psychology Doctorate Program, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor. Hayley has experience working with children, adolescents, and their families, in outpatient hospital settings and schools. She is trained in evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and in performing neuropsychological evaluations. Hayley has experience providing counseling and comprehensive assessments for individuals with trauma histories, Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She utilizes a strength-based approach, integrating psychoeducation and mindfulness to empower her clients. Hayley is collaborative, compassionate and warm, creating a supportive environment to meet each individual client's needs. Marcus A. Joyner, M.A., is a third-year extern at Behavioral Associates. He is currently enrolled in the clinical psychology doctoral program at Saint John's University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Pace University and his Master of Arts in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology from The University of Washington. Marcus has experience with families, children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a wide variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties including Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Rebecca has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood through older adults. She is trained in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has worked with a wide range of psychological concerns in a variety of settings (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, community clinic). She also has experience conducting neuropsychological assessments. Rebecca has strong clinical and research interests in perinatal psychology and the management of chronic illnesses. Benjamin Dukas, M.A., is currently pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, where he is receiving training in cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He has experience practicing psychotherapy with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He is developing a speciality in treating anxiety disorders utilizing a cognitive-behavioral and third-wave framework supplemented by other relevant interventions. He strives to create a warm, collaborative, and productive therapeutic space with his patients. He received his bachelor's degree in communications and psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.

During her training, Jade received a scholarship for her dedication to community service and commitment to transforming health care in underserved populations. She is a proud fellow of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Jade is committed to promoting skin wellness and educating patients on the importance of prevention to maintain healthy skin and reduce skin cancer risk. Kim Boxer

Kim Boxer, M.Ed. comes to Behavioral Associates as a Mental Health Counseling intern from the Counseling Psychology Psy.D. program at Felician University. Her training includes counseling college students, neuropsychological testing, and counseling adults in private practice. She utilizes evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness through the lens of diversity and multiculturalism. Kim empowers her clients to move through maladaptive thoughts, habits, and traumas and create attainable goals and coping skills to live their best life. Kim's therapeutic style can be adapted to each client in a warm, supportive, non-judgmental space; however, she challenges her clients when needed to make changes in their lives. Dana DeFilippo, M.S., (Predoctoral Intern) received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University, her Masters of Science in Psychology from St. John's University, and is currently pursuing her doctorate at St. John's University. Dana is trained in evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). She is also trained in psychological and neuropsychological assessment across a wide age range with a variety of developmental, behavioral, academic, and professional needs. Her doctoral research has focused on integrating technology and psychotherapy. Dana believes that therapy should be a collaborative process and strives to provide individualized treatment catered to a client's needs and goals. Erica Vieira, MA is a 4th Year Doctoral Student at Saint Elizabeth University. She received her Bachelors & Masters degree from St. Elizabeth University in Counseling Psychology specializing in the ASD and ADHD population. She has experience counseling school students from elementary to high school grade levels as well as performing assessments and executive functioning training and development. Previously, she instructed children on the autism spectrum in martial arts as well as equestrian therapy. Born and raised in Queens, Erica has a background in promoting social justice to the forefront when greeting each and every one of her clients. Erica incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as gestalt and person-centered therapeutic techniques when working with clients from child to adult. She has a history in providing grief counseling and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) with clients as well as working with clients of the LGBT+ community. Shannon Marhan

Shannon Marhan, M.A. is a second-year student at New York University, pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Pennsylvania State University, and her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Montclair State University. She has experience working with individuals with eating disorders, OCD, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety and depression. Shannon also has clinical experience working with adolescents and adults in an outpatient, partial-hospitalization and intensive-outpatient level of care for eating disorders. She is passionate about working with individuals from an anti-oppressive and anti-racist perspective to create a collaborative, inclusive and empathetic therapeutic environment. Ariel Balsam, is a Masters of Social Work student at Columbia University specializing in Integrated Practice and Programming. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, and has since worked in grants management and school-based services. Ariel has experience working in a variety settings, including special education schools and inclusion programs at camps, as well as with people with language-based learning disabilities and ADHD. She also works with people on executive functioning skills related to their work and wellbeing. Originally from St. Petersburg, Vanessa is delighted to come back to Florida after relocating from Memphis, TN. She received her master's from the University of Florida School of Medicine in Physician Associate's program. Vanessa is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Associates and Society of Dermatology Physician Associates. She is passionate about dermatologic and reconstructive surgery, general dermatology and aesthetics such as Botox, lasers and sclerotherapy.
