5WORKS - Key Persons
Elizabeth has been with COMET program since its inception, first as a parent, then as Volunteer Extraordinaire, and now as a Program Leader. She has a wonderful gift of class room décor and design.
Marie is a Filipina immigrant who has eventually considered Houston as her home. She graduated at College of Saint Benedict with two Bachelor's degrees: Studio Art and Asian Studies. As an Art Instructor for 5-Works, Marie is utilizing creative endeavors to motivate and inspire children.
Oralia has a Master's of Counseling with eighteen years of experience in the non-profit arena.

Velda started out as a grandparent in our COMET program, always being the first to volunteer and lend a hand. She is now working as the program assistant and helping provide services through our resident services program.
