Tyson Abbo is a CPA in San Diego with over 10 years of accounting and tax experience. As a San Diego CPA, Abbo has diligently worked with clients of all types including individuals, small businesses, corporations, LLCs, and partnerships. Greatly involved and immersed within his native San Diego community, Abbo comes from a family of small business owners. He quickly grew an interest in accountancy after witnessing firsthand the financial importance and impact a knowledgeable accountant can make. In 2013, Abbo was presented with the "Emerging Generation - Top Professionals" by the San Diego Business Journal, an award honoring leading professionals in their respective industries. In 2019, 2020, and 2021 Abbo Tax CPA was awarded "San Diego's Best Accounting Firm" by the U-T San Diego's Best Readers Poll. Abbo was also named Top 10 Public Accounting Professionals in California for 2015, by the National Academy of Public Accounting Professionals. He was most recently awarded "San Diego's Best Accountant" by Ranch & Coast Magazine for 2021. Abbo has served as a panelist for Merrill Lynch on how to "Keep Out of Trouble and Run an Efficient Business." He also served as an honorary member for the San Diego Fundraising Committee for Sharp Hospital. Over the years, Abbo sought to improve industry standards by forming a personal interest with his clients. He opened Abbo Tax, CPA with the mission of serving as a trustworthy, friendly and informative San Diego CPA and Tax Preparer. Abbo's accreditations include a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from San Diego State University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Enrolled Agent (EA). In his spare time, Abbo works with young accountants as a mentor. He is involved in mentoring accounting students and providing everlasting advice they can take with them throughout their professional careers.
