I started my career in Veterinary medicine 7 Years ago, but my passion for animals has been lifelong. I started my journey with VU 3 1/2 years ago. It has been a journey of people investing in me from the beginning and seeing my potential. I am excited to continue leading my team at AVCC/AWCT and inspiring them to continue growing in their individual roles!

Jules Rinaldi

  • Veterinary Assistant
Jules has been in the veterinary field for several years. After going back and forth from vet med to other industries, she keeps finding her passion for animal wellness, including exotics, canines, felines, and more, continue to drive her back into the profession she loves. Jules is currently continuing her education with Penn Foster, which provides NAVTA Approved programs within the veterinary field. In her spare time, you can find Jules spending time with family, as well as enjoying puzzles.

Kaitlyn Shiveley

Job Titles:
  • Veterinary Assistant
Kaitlyn has been a veterinary assistant here since February of 2017. She had originally gotten into the field to spread the love, and care to all the patients that walk in the door. Currently, Kaitlyn has two dogs, four cats, and two Guinea Pigs that mean the absolute world to her, so she understands just how important your furry family members are to you! Kaitlyn loves what she does and has a passion for animals that she holds very dear. Kaitlyn graduated from Oakland University in 2020 with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Science and is currently at Wayne State University to obtain an additional Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering. In her spare time, Kaitlyn loves to go up north to spend time enjoying watersports, including boating and her jet ski, as well as spending time with her family, and fur babies.

Lily Nichols

Born in the great lakes state of Michigan, and after a brief stint in Arizona, Lily decided to come back and do what she loves to do. Her passion is the wellness of animals, and loves helping the furry friends within her community. As it is her passion, she received the prestigious "Above and Beyond" award for her compassion, and dedication to her clients, her patients, and her team. When she is not at the hospital helping the critter kids, you can find her spending time with her own, which includes two dogs, a cat, a crested gecko, and three ferrets as well.

Petrina Costanza

Petrina, an LVT at Berkley Animal Hospital, has a passion for animal wellness. After graduating from Baker College in 2016, she has been educating clients, and caring for animals ever since. With a focus on surgery, animal behavior, and pain management, Petrina is a great addition to the Berkley family!
