About Us AlSher APM was acquired by 5iTech from The Sherwin- Williams Company (SHW) in 2010. Before the acquisition, the business was operated by Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (ALTI) in Reno, NV. In 2011, 5iTech relocated the business to Cleveland, Ohio and the plant was opened at 7601 Detour Ave. AlSher APM is the largest manufacturer of nanostructured agglomerated and micronized powders in North America.
