Prior to joining APIS, Carl was a first responder and mission leader at the Lebanese Red Cross.

Hamid has more than 20 years of experience in health economics, finance & retail banking in Europe, South America and the Middle East.
As a consultant, he helped several hospitals restructure their debt and put in place provisional cash management systems across the MENA region.

Hassib has over 28 years of professional experience in industry and management consulting. His current focus is on business transformations, board and C-level advisory, as well as leadership coaching. He led the Healthcare Industry vertical and Technology services for Deloitte in the Middle East. He worked with different regional and international organizations in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Led transformation through strategy definition, technology enablement and process design.
Joseph is one of the founders of APIS and has over 30 years of experience as a chief executive officer of university hospitals: Hotel-Dieu de France Hospital, University Medical Center - Rizk Hospital, and most recently at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He also serves as advisor in strategy and finance of various healthcare institutions.
As a consultant, Joseph has led projects focused on healthcare institutions governance, strategy and financial structure and systems, as well as due diligence, leading to institution's restructuring to better face its current and future challenges. He introduced many innovations in the hospital industry, namely in financing operations, financing investments, and marketing.
Joseph teaches Management of Healthcare Institutions in the Masters of Business program of the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) and at École Supérieure des Affaires(ESA), Clemenceau (Lebanon).

Karim is an ingenious business analyst at APIS. He has worked on numerous projects such as feasibility studies, costing of national strategies, as well as assessing tertiary care hospitals.
Mario has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and project management. He has extensive experience in Structuring and Restructuring Business processes and designing HR strategy. He has also worked on designing and implementing Business Development Strategies and conducting Management Transformation projects.
As a consultant, he succeeded in supporting several health organizations such as hospitals in improving their performance and in building visibility on their activities and their decision making process. He has also helped enhance the knowledge and skills of the organizations' workforce.

Nasri is one of the founders of APIS and a Professor of Law and lawyer at the Bar of Beirut and the Bar of Paris. He has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of medical law, and financial and banking law.
He serves as a legal advisor to multiple hospitals, clinics and laboratories. Nasri has established the legal structure of numerous private hospitals and medical laboratories, and organized the relationship governing hospitals with their medical staff. He provides legal counsel to hospitals, physicians, and laboratories.
In 2023, he published a book titled "Ethique et droit de la santé" (Health Law and Ethics) at the Editions de l'Université Saint-Joseph - 315 pages, with a preface by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Université Saint-Joseph.
Nasri is member of the ethics committee of Hotel-Dieu de France Hospital and of the Lebanese National Consultative Committee on Ethics (CCNLE). He is author of 6 legal books and more than 100 articles published in Paris, Beirut, London and Brussels.

Nayla is an Associate Professor in otolaryngology head and neck surgery. In addition to her medical practice in one of the leading university hospitals in Beirut, Nayla manages health and public health consulting projects.

She has reviewed research projects for the Agence Nationale de la Recherche in France and National HealthCare Institute in the Netherlands. She has supervised more than 50 research projects and has more than 40 articles published in peer reviewed journals.

Randa is one of the founders of APIS and has an extensive and diverse background in the healthcare industry with over 25 years of experience. She has specific expertise in hospital operations, nursing and human resources management, and health facility planning.
She has led projects focused on healthcare institutions assessment and restructuring, market entry strategies development, as well as the review and optimization of hospital design. As a consultant, she coached nursing, human resources and operations managers to structure and optimize hospital practices. She is an instructor at the Faculty of Nursing at Université Saint Joseph of Beirut (USJ), in the areas of optimization of healthcare operations and quality of services in healthcare institutions.
Prior to founding APIS, she has held senior positions in human resources management, clinical operations and nursing in a major university hospital in Beirut.

She draws from this experience and knowledge to provide valuable insights and support to the team.

Wissam has more than 18 years of experience in the management of biomedical engineering and healthcare projects in the MENA region.
He has extensive expertise in facility and medical equipment planning of new health facilities, expansion and renovation projects. Wissam is also highly experienced in the planning, acquisition and purchase of medical equipment and systems.
As a project manager, Wissam has succeeded in delivering projects in multidisciplinary challenging environment including public and private stakeholders with different backgrounds and expertise.
