Adam B. Scott - Founder

Adam B. Scott is a co-founder of Argyle Capital Partners. A veteran of Morgan Stanley and UBS Wealth Management in Beverly Hills, Adam uses his extensive market knowledge and macro-level analysis to implement customized solutions for high net worth private clients. Adam is a regular contributor to TheStreet.com. His colorful insights and market analysis can also be found on Yahoo! Finance and Seeking Alpha, and he has been interviewed or quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Newswires, and The New York Times. Adam is a graduate of Tufts University in Boston where he studied Mechanical Engineering and Finance, captained the Men's Varsity Tennis Team, and served on the Senior Leadership Committee. Today Adam is still an avid tennis player and skier, and volunteers his free time to the Fulfillment Fund, the Tufts Alumni Association and coaching local youth sports.

Greg Willsey

Greg is the founder and owner of Venice Brands, a consumer brands platform based in Los Angeles whose mission is to build category leaders with a focus on health, wellness and amazing products. Venice Brands does a combination of creating and launching new brands, providing venture capital and growth equity to existing high-growth brands, and purchasing majority stakes in profitable brands where its experienced team can add substantial value. Prior to launching Venice Brands, Greg joined Monogram Capital as its third partner and member of the investment committee when the firm had made two investments in the fast casual restaurant space. Since joining, he has helped the firm make 12 additional investments and to develop an active presence in the food and beverage space. His areas of focus range from sourcing and diligence to deal structuring and portfolio company operations. Previously, Greg held P&L responsibility for POM Wonderful, the largest vertically integrated grower and marketer of pomegranates and related products. His responsibilities included setting the company's strategy and annual budget, creating sales targets and setting pricing for all products, managing a 30+ person sales team, leading strategic and operational initiatives, managing financial reporting & accounting, and approving all employment agreements & capex. He started with the Wonderful Company (the owner of POM Wonderful) as a Director of Strategy and M&A, where he led the diligence of potential acquisitions and portfolio company initiatives. Greg was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey, where he spent 5+ years in the CPG, media & entertainment, and private equity industries. He also worked in partnership marketing for US Airways, helping to redesign the company's credit card portfolio and member benefits, and to develop and implement a national advertising campaign. Greg is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School (both with distinction), as well as the Calloway School of Business at Wake Forest (where he graduated first in his class). He is a member of the California State Bar.

Joel Scott

Joel Scott is an author, educator, and business owner. After receiving a Bachelors Degrees in Physics and Biology from SUNY at Albany and then a Masters Degree in Computer Science from SUNY at Albany, he began his career at their Atmospheric Research Center studying energy conservation. After two years Mr. Scott formed his own computer software and business consulting company. By the early 1990s the company was recognized as one of the world's top resellers of, and experts on, GoldMine Customer Relationship Management software. As a renowned expert, Mr. Scott was hired to write three editions of GoldMine for Dummies and to co-author several editions of Microsoft CRM for Dummies. His focus on building and developing client relationships makes him a key resource for ACP. After selling his New England-based business in 2006, Mr. Scott and his wife Debbie of 35 years moved from Connecticut to a lake in North Carolina. Since then, he has continued to write, to consult and most recently to officiate at USTA tennis tournaments.

Joshua Rudoy

Josh co-founded Argyle Capital Partners with eight years of experience as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley and UBS in Beverly Hills, California. He specializes in non-correlated assets such as Master Limited Partnerships, Closed-End Funds, and Alternative Investments. Josh grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from The University of Southern California. He began his career in financial services with UBS in Beverly Hills and moved to Morgan Stanley in 2007 where he helped his clients weather the financial crisis of 2008-09 by implementing dynamic strategies for changing market conditions. Josh serves on the Board of Directors for the Wilshire Rotary Club where he remains very active in community and social services. Josh also serves on the Advisory Board for The Actors Fund's "Looking Ahead" program which was created to help professional young performers and their families thrive amid the unique challenges of working in the entertainment industry. Josh resides in Los Angeles with his wife Kathy and their two sons, Reid and Chase.

Samuel Garrison

Samuel Garrison was appointed interim senior vice president for university relations in February 2020. In this capacity, he provides strategic direction and leadership of USC's efforts to continuously improve its relationships with external and internal stakeholders. His responsibilities include government and community relations, civic engagement, education and government partnership programs, and USC's thirteen public radio stations. Most recently, Garrison served as chief of staff to the chair of the USC Board of Trustees and as a special advisor to President Carol L. Folt. He began his career working in roles on Capitol Hill for Senator Dianne Feinstein and Congressman Adam Schiff. After returning to Southern California, he served as a communications director to a Los Angeles City Council member then led the government affairs and public policy department at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, one of the nation's largest regional business federations. During his six years at the chamber, Garrison revitalized the organization's advocacy effectiveness with public officials at all levels of government and forged partnerships on important civic issues with organized labor, government reform advocates, and community healthcare stakeholders. He also drove the chamber's leadership roles on multiple successful state and local ballot measures including landmark state redistricting (Proposition 11) and term limits reform (Proposition 28) initiatives. Recently, Garrison ran his own public affairs consulting firm, GPS. He also served in leadership roles at Caltech and at Caruso. At Caruso, he led multiple development and strategic initiatives, as well as civic relations for founder Rick Caruso, and served as the executive director of the Caruso Family Foundation. Garrison was also a director at the High Lantern Group, a strategic communications firm. Garrison served as founding board chair of Operation Progress, a youth success ecosystem in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, and is an executive board member of Hillsides in Pasadena, one of the region's oldest and largest family services providers. He has served on the boards of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, and the Valley Industry & Commerce Association. From 2009 to 2014, Garrison was a member of the state's Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board which administered health insurance programs for more than one million Californians. A fifth-generation Angeleno, Garrison is a graduate of Harvard-Westlake School. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from Loyola Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of California.

Zabrina Schultz

Zabrina Schultz has served some of L.A.'s biggest and oldest names in Hollywood as a Tax Accountant at Jess S. Morgan & Co, a business management firm. As an Accounting & Contracts Manager in the Television/Music Department at Paramount Pictures, Zabrina presided over $25 million in music budgets. She got started 20 years ago at H&R Block where she gained insight into the individual tax-payer's needs while preparing hundreds of tax returns at the Hollywood branch. Zabrina is an IRS Enrolled Agent*. She graduated from Chapman University, with a B.S. in Business and a minor in Spanish. An active member of her community, she volunteers at School on Wheels, which provides homeless children with tutoring and mentors. She spends her downtime trotting the globe, visiting art galleries, estate sale shopping and listening to old-school hip-hop. These days she is also introducing her son to the exciting cultural and artistic diversity of her native Los Angeles.
