BABEL BUDAPEST

Babel Budapest was founded by Hlatky-Schlichter Hubert and he is still the owner of the restaurant to this day. The Establishment moved to its current location in 2015, to the building of the late Piarist High School on the historic Március 15. Square, right next to the oldest Church in the city center. He also opened another iconic Restaurant called Kiosk Budapest in the very same building, which can be seen through the wall from inside Babel... The Restaurant first opened its door in 2008 and it has been in operation ever since with minor interruptions. In 2019, our dedication and tremendous amount of hard work were rewarded with a Michelin Star, for what we have been working tirelessly for over a decade.
