Christopher Jaubert - CEO, Founder, President

Chris grew up surrounded by construction since childhood and was inspired at an early age by his Uncle and Mentor, Steve Stumpf, who was a very well-respected CEO of a large heavy civil construction firm. Beginning as a laborer, while attending Pensacola Catholic High School, Chris worked summers and weekends, alongside his best friend Josh Sitton, for a contractor who later became Chris' father-in-law and yet another construction entrepreneur who would prove to be a positive influence. Taking the advice of his mentors, Chris pursued Construction Management as a lifelong commitment by working multiple jobs in the building trades while earning his Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from the LSU College of Engineering, following in his father's footsteps, Jack Jaubert, who was in the first graduating class of the LSU Construction Management program decades earlier.

Gary Morgan

Job Titles:
  • GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT
As General Superintendent, Gary is responsible for supervising on-site activities and providing daily reports, photos and documentation for work performed. Gary's responsibilities include site safety and supervision, reviewing contract documents and specifications as well as scheduling subcontractors, inspections and testing labs. Gary is an experienced project superintendent who has worked on a wide range of construction projects for 19+ years, and has completed his OSHA 30-hour certification and other industry training. Gary has managed over $150 million dollar in projects with his largest completed project totaling $53 million dollars. He has experience in large-scale construction including work for Navy Federal Credit Union, Sacred Heart/Ascension, and the Maritime Place office building. Because of his vast experience and knowledge in the industry, Gary's role as General Superintendent is vital to Bear's success. He is responsible for overseeing every project and managing every superintendent at Bear General Contractors. He has proven to be invaluable in the growth of our young and talented superintendents.

Josh Sitton - Founder

As Founder & Chief Development Officer, Josh is responsible for client-relationship management and being the Chief Fun Officer for the company. Josh has taken his love for construction and paired it with his passion for the Pensacola community in starting Bear General Contractors. Josh partnered with Chris Jaubert (Founder, CEO and long-time best friend) to build Bear General Contractors based on a positive construction experience, integrity and long lasting quality work for commercial projects. Josh's interest in construction stems from his love for the development of real estate ("I love taking something old and turning it new again!"). He has successfully developed or re-developed many commercial and residential projects in Florida and Wisconsin. Josh's intense passion for real estate and his love affair with the Pensacola community fuels Josh in his role as Chief Development Officer. Josh's affection for development and construction came later in life. His first true passion was for the game of football. Josh is a former NFL offensive lineman who played college football at the University of Central Florida and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Josh spent 8 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, 2 seasons with the Chicago Bears and his final season with the Miami Dolphins. He is a four time Pro Bowler, three time All Pro, and a Super Bowl Champion (SB XLV with the Packers in 2011). Josh moved to Pensacola when he was one and has called it home ever since. He attended Pensacola Catholic High School (2000-2004). Josh has been very active with his alma mater over the years and is proud to have played a major role in the fundraising, fund giving and construction of the school's largest renovation and addition since the schools inception. Josh's philanthropic work doesn't stop there. Josh is extremely active in supporting the Pensacola community, especially for the betterment of our future generations. Luke Pittman - COO, President

As President & Chief Operating Officer, Luke is in charge of the day-to-day business operations at Bear including all facets of successful project completion including pre-construction planning & estimating, scheduling, project management, quality control, safety, client satisfaction, administration, and project accounting. Luke is living proof that the good old fashioned American dream is achievable through shear determination, hard work, perseverance, focus, and a pragmatic approach to getting the job done no matter what it takes. Luke grew up in a construction family-his grandparents, father, and uncles are all construction veterans that individually owned and operated multiple successful local companies specializing in general contracting, windows & glazing, insulation, drywall and metal studs. Starting at an early age, Luke worked hands-on in the family businesses before making a name for himself as a successful superintendent, specializing in healthcare building projects for a very well established and respected local construction management firm. Since his early twenties, Luke has successfully led and completed a total of over $100 Million dollars of construction projects, with over $75 Million in healthcare projects including single projects in excess of $25 million. Luke's track record of success in constructing buildings speaks for itself.
