Emily joined Muse in 2015. She earned her cosmetology license in 2013 and is a graduate of the Aveda Institute Birmingham, where she was voted Class President. Emily has won numerous hair and makeup competitions including the Aveda Edwin Neil Full Potential Award Finalist, NAHA Participant, and BEACON, where she was named one of the top 100 cosmetology students in America. From Birmingham to Nashville to Las Vegas, Emily has worked with and studied under some of top industry leaders. She continues to master her trade and stretch her skills everyday. Before joining Muse, Emily was a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics and also worked as a freelance hair and makeup artist for various photo shoots, weddings and special events. Although she has always had one foot in the beauty industry, she has an eclectic background with a degree in Print Journalism and a Masters Degree in Education. Emily has a true love for her trade. She is thrilled to be able to take her passion and create a rewarding career in this industry surrounded by beautiful people and souls.

Gabby grew up in Hoover Alabama and is one of 4 sisters. Having two of her sisters being older, they were able to teach her hairstyling and makeup trends that inspired her to learn more at a young age. She now gets her inspiration from the desire to do the same for others. Her motto is if you can make yourself feel and look beautiful, why not share that with others, so that they too can feel this way. Her most loved services are blonding and styling hair, although you will often catch her cracking jokes in the back as if her part time career is a comedian.

Kayla has been lifetime resident of Birmingham, Alabama and is married with 2 beautiful daughters, whom she loves to craft with. Some of her other hobbies are reading, journaling, baking, and playing piano. She has a knack for taking care of guest. Kayla's relationship with guest begins on the phone, where she makes sure every "i" is dotted and "t" is crossed. Upon arriving at the salon, Kayla greets every guest with a warm welcome and makes sure that the appointment starts and finishes flawlessly. She really enjoys creating relationships with the guest and watching that same guest bonding with stylists. The best reward she gets from her role, is listening to guests' excitement about being at Muse and watching their hair transformation happen. Seeing guests' attitude and confidence shine from a great hair experience really makes her day.

Salon Owner, Micah Lipscomb, started her career in 2005 and it didn't take long to create an amazing guest following. Aspiring to create the perfect experience for guests, she opened Muse Salon in 2011. Building a staff through apprenticeships & continuing education, allows stylists at Muse to have the same core training and workmanship throughout the salon. While Micah, no longer works behind the chair, she focuses her time on servicing staff and creating amazing guest experiences.
