Bottega's core values are; Joy, Mindfulness, Relationships, Communication, Research, & Representation... As the children walk into our school we enjoy observing their individuality. The way they encounter the environment, their peers, and the faculty. As time passes each child begins to unveil their inner self by sharing ideas, individual learning style, skills, creativity, and the different ways they see the world. Our Bottega children have a voice and it is heard in our school... Bottega's philosophy of education is based on the theories of Social Constructivism. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, our curriculum emerges from the children's inner interest and the teachers' invitation to investigate their ideas and theories stimulating cognitive processes and developing skills. We recognize that all children are capable, curious, and filled with wonder as they learn about their world.
