BRUCE ADAMS MUSIC

Bruce Adams grew up in North Georgia surrounded by excellent music teachers. One of his most significant influences was the award-winning band program at North Gwinnett High School, from where he graduated in 1988. While there he also sang in the choral program, and landed the lead role of "Curly" in the musical "Oklahoma" his senior year. After graduation, Mr. Adams attended Columbus State University on a full music scholarship, double-majoring in clarinet and piano. When the jazz band needed another saxophonist, he quickly learned that instrument, and was awarded the chair. After two years at CSU, Mr. Adams received a clarinet scholarship from Indiana University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Music and an Outside Field (Education) in 1993. He then returned home to Georgia and began his career in music ministry and private teaching.
