Alan Dugan

Alan leads the Property and Infrastructure team for Cairns and Mackay Airports responsible for all of aspects of environmental management, planning, development, construction and asset management. Alan has over 20 years' experience in infrastructure development from design and construction, through to operation and maintenance. Most recently, Alan has held senior positions at Hamad International Airport Doha and Darwin Airport in the Northern Territory.

Amanda McMillan

Amanda is an Executive Director in Macquarie's Infrastructure and Real Assets Australian Transport Team. She is the former Chief Executive Officer of AGS Airports Limited, one of the United Kingdom's leading airport groups and operator of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports and is currently a director of Perth Airport, Queensland Airports, One Rail Australia, Bingo Industries, and is the former Chair of Hobart Airport. Prior to her career in aviation Amanda worked for the global drinks company Diageo and KPMG in financial and leadership roles. She was awarded an OBE for her services to business and tourism in 2013 and holds honorary doctorates from both the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University.

Andrea Ferrier

Colin Storrie

Colin Storrie has extensive financial and aviation experience, which includes Group Treasurer, Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles within Qantas Airways Ltd. Up until 2021, Colin was the Managing Director, Group Portfolio Businesses at Woolworths Ltd and prior to that was Deputy CFO. He has also held a number of director roles in both listed and non-listed companies including Qantas Airways Ltd, Jetset Travel Ltd, AIG Australia Ltd and AMP Bank Ltd. Prior to his roles at Qantas and Woolworths, Colin worked in investment banking and for the government of New South Wales. Colin is a non-executive director of Endeavour Group Ltd, the Quantium Group Ltd and Chairman of PFD Food Services Ltd. He is also on the Investment Committee of W23 Investments Ltd and is an Advisory Board member to Commencer Capital. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wollongong, a graduate diploma in management from AGSM University of New South Wales, a fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (FCPA) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Dr Martin Parkinson

Martin Parkinson is Chancellor of Macquarie University, a director of Worley, Male Champions of Change and O'Connell St Associates, and a member of the NSW Net Zero Emissions and Clean Economy Board, and of the Asia Society Australia and Thrive Refugee Enterprises. He has almost four decades experience operating at the highest levels of government in Australia and internationally, working across economic, social, foreign, defence and national security policy. Martin has been: Secretary of three Australian Government Departments - Prime Minister and Cabinet, the Treasury, and Climate Change; a member of the Board of the Reserve Bank of Australia; Chair of the Australian Office of Financial Management; Australia's G20 Finance Deputy; and has worked at the International Monetary Fund. Martin holds a B.Ec with First Class Honours (Adelaide), a M.Ec (ANU), and a M.A and Ph.D (Princeton). He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences Australia and of the Institute of Public Administration Australia.

Garry Porter - COO

Garry leads the Aviation, Operations, Commercial and Marketing teams for NQA. Garry joined NQA in April 2019 as the General Manager Mackay Airport. Garry has considerable experience working in the aviation and tourism sectors and has an in-depth understanding of regional airports around the country. He has a keen understanding of the importance of working collaboratively with stakeholders, the community and airlines to generate industry development. Garry has over 20 years operational, commercial and management experience across the aviation sector within the Asia-Pacific region.

Hugh FitzSimons

Hugh has worked with Macquarie Infrastructure & Real Assets for 17 years in both Sydney and New York. Hugh is the Head of The Infrastructure Fund (TIF), a $2.4bn infrastructure fund for which MIRA is the Investment Manager, and the COO of Macquarie Specialised Asset Management (MSAM) which is the trustee of several of MIRA's Australian funds and managed accounts. He is currently a Director of Port of Newcastle, and was previously the Chair of Hobart Airport and Oceania Healthcare (NZ). Hugh has degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Sydney, and is a member of the NSW Law Society and the AICD.

Liz Savage

Now a full time company director, Liz's portfolio includes Auckland International Airport, Intrepid Travel, FunLab and People Infrastructure. Previous Board roles include at Mantra Group, Swissport ANZ, Brisbane Marketing & Triathlon Australia. Liz holds a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Bristol, a Master's degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University and studied at Harvard Business School.

Marko Josipovic

Marko Josipovic is an Investment Principal within the Infrastructure Investments Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In his current role Marko has been involved in the initial investment and ongoing management of infrastructure businesses across OECD countries in the utilities, power generation and transportation sectors. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in New York, Marko worked in the infrastructure investment team at IFM Investors in Melbourne and at National Australia Bank as a member of the bank's infrastructure project finance team in Sydney. Marko graduated from The University of Adelaide with a double degree of Bachelor of Laws (Honors) and Bachelor of Finance.

Michele Wong - CFO

Michele has over 20 years' experience in transport and infrastructure finance, including senior roles at Macquarie Group, Hastings Funds Management and Port of Brisbane. Paul Ryan

Based in New York, Paul Ryan is CEO and Portfolio Manager of JPMorgan Asset Management's OECD Infrastructure Equity Strategy. Originally from Sydney, Paul has spent almost 20 years in the United States and has an MBA from Yale and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.

Peter Varghese AO

Peter Varghese AO is the director of CARE Australia, and the Chancellor of The University of Queensland. Prior to this appointment, he served as Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (2012-2016). Previous senior appointments included High Commissioner to India (2009-2012), High Commissioner to Malaysia (2000-2002), Director-General of the Office of National Assessments (2004-2009), and Senior Advisor (International) to the Prime Minister of Australia (2003-2004). Peter Varghese was the author of a comprehensive India Economic Strategy to 2035 commissioned by the Australian Prime Minister and submitted in July 2018. Peter was educated at The University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours and a University Medal in history in 1978. He received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from The University of Queensland in 2013. Peter chairs The Advisory Council of Asialink, a body committed to deeper engagement with Asia, and also sits on the governing board of the Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore.

Richard Barker - CEO

Richard Barker was appointed as NQA's Chief Executive Officer in December 2020, after joining the NQA Board of Directors in 2015. Richard has extensive experience in the Airports, Retail and Energy sectors. In his previous role as General Manager of Retail & Commercial at Auckland International Airport, Richard was responsible for the airport's retail, transport and premium lounge businesses. Richard has more than 30 years of global experience having worked and lived in New Zealand, UK, USA and Australia. Richard holds a BMS (Marketing / Finance) and a KMI from Kellogg Business School - Chicago and is a member NZ Institute of Directors.

Sandra Harding AO

Professor Sandra Harding AO served as Vice Chancellor and President of James Cook University from January 2007 to February 2022 and was responsible for ensuring clear and effective leadership and management across all operating sites, including campuses in Cairns, Singapore and Townsville. A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Professor Harding has been involved in regional development activity in northern Australia and the global Tropics for many years and has undertaken a wide variety of senior university-aligned roles as well as memberships/directorships of local, national and international Boards and Councils. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of UniSuper, the Regional Australia Institute and the (NQ) Cowboys Community Foundation. Professor Harding also serves as a Member of the Board of Governors, Queensland Community Foundation. Professor Harding holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the Australian National University, a Master's degree in Public Administration from The University of Queensland, a PhD in Sociology from North Carolina State University and an honorary Doctor of the University degree from Queensland University of Technology.
