Matt Capell - President

Job Titles:
  • Owner
  • President
  • Owner of Capell Flooring Capellflooring
My name is Matt Capell, and I am the president/owner of Capell Flooring and Interiors. I was born in Boise and raised in Meridian, Idaho. I love Idaho and being in the Treasure Valley. I'm a second-generation owner of our family business and love working with people to create their dream homes and offices through remodeling or new construction. I wrote a book on the flooring purchase process called "The Consumer's Guide to Flooring." My team and I would love to get you a FREE copy of it. Meeting people is one of the great pleasures of my job, and this business makes it possible to meet new people every day. Some of my earliest memories are holding a tape measure for my mother while she measured a house and later being her scribe on measurements when I could write. Besides growing up in the flooring industry in Boise, I've worked for our family business full-time since 2002 and have been the primary owner since 2008. I'm married to my wife Patty and have been blessed with five children, four daughters and one son, that keep me busy when I'm not doing flooring. I like to be involved with my family, which comes first for me, sports, and church responsibilities in my spare time. I sometimes participate in USTA tennis leagues, basketball, weightlifting, and ping-pong. I enjoy being a youth leader in the community. Please come and see us at our flooring store in Meridian, Idaho, where we care about you as an individual and want to help you make the best possible decisions for your home. I like to have fun with our advertising and add a little humor from time to time because life is too short not to have a little fun. Meiken Swenson

Job Titles:
  • Interior Designer / Director of First Impressions
Hi, I'm Meiken Swenson! I grew up in the Boise area, and I love it here! After high school, I attended Utah State University, where I studied Interior Design and Art. Design and art have always been passions of mine and have been a part of my life since I was a child. So much so that I have worked the past 15 years as an Interior Designer or in the world of Graphic Arts. I really love seeing how the environment around us plays a part in our everyday lives and the joy that good design can bring into it. Family is the most important thing in my life and brings me such happiness when I am with them. I also love traveling and seeing all the amazing architecture in the world. Other things I enjoy are reading, music and spending time with friends.

Nicole Andrew

Job Titles:
  • Design / Measuring / Office
I am thrilled to be working with clients looking for excellent service. I love the challenge of meeting their expectations in flooring and interior solutions. The support you will get here at Capell Flooring is exceptional and we aim to please. I grew up with a mom that designed and decorated each of the homes we lived in. She had great talent for putting together color, design, and textures. I love to do that as well. When not at work, I love time with family. We enjoy hiking, biking, camping, water, and snow sports. Otherwise, you'll find me tucked up in a warm blanket with a mystery novel. As much as I love the outdoors, my interior space is just as important to me. I love to walk in my home and enjoy the ambience that has been created through various mediums. Home is a place where we want to create a relaxing, inviting space and put the cares of the world away for a moment. No matter the size of our living environment, we define our home to feel comfortable.

Savanah Cornelius

Job Titles:
  • Sales & Design / Front Desk
Hi there, I'm Savanah. I grew up stuck in Lodi, California training horses, spent some time kite surfing on Maui and I now raise my handsome son here in Idaho. I'm a lover of weight lifting, God and the great outdoors. Growing up with my grandparents, previous owners of Pueblo Tile for 31 years, I helped them set tile and quickly developed a love for customizing homes and beautiful floors! I've always found it to be a fun experience and am happy to help keep it that way here at Capell Flooring.

Sheri Cole

Hi I'm Sheri Cole! I grew up in Boise, attending Capital High School and then continuing on to Boise State, graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. I played tennis for BSU on a tennis scholarship and enjoyed my years there. The tennis skills have transferred over to my working at Capell Flooring and Interiors, because if you come in for a visit, you may be challenged to a ping pong game :). And by no coincidence, there is a table upstairs in the warehouse! I married my husband, Terry, also from Boise, who is now a Captain for the Boise Fire Dept., while going to BSU. After graduation, I taught the first grade until my children were born. We have 3 awesome kids, and we still enjoy all the time we can spend with them. I love art, and have a holiday window painting business on the side, which keeps me very busy mostly at the Thanksgiving/Christmas season. I love to shop, go out to lunch with friends, and spend time with my husband Terry and kids. I try to bring a friendly and fun personality to everyone that comes in.

Stacey Atchley

Job Titles:
  • Design & Sales
Hello, my name is Stacey Atchley. I grew up in Mesa, AZ, but have lived in the Treasure Valley for nearly 20 years. I received my degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University. While attending college, I met my husband, Steve. We have been married for 22 years and have 4 amazing kids. I enjoy warm sunshine, Taco Bell, Pepsi, and TV detective shows. They make it look so easy!! I am in a bowling league, but please don't ask my average as it is very sad. My passion lies in creating things-whether it be sewing a Halloween costume, or building a coffee table-I love the process of taking raw materials and turning them into something beautiful. This spills over into the home building/renovating process. Selecting paint, flooring, countertops, etc., and bringing them all together to create a stunning home is exhilarating. I am excited to be part of the Capell team. They did the flooring for our custom home in 2004, and provide great customer service. They take the time to get to know you, making sure you get something that fits your style, needs, and budget, to help you create something beautiful.
