Members of Technology Services are part of Texas A&M's contingent promoting Internet2. Internet2 is a consortium of universities, including Texas A&M, working in partnership with industry and government to develop and deploy advanced network applications and technologies. Texas A&M and Internet2 signed an agreement to create the first Internet2 Technology Evaluation Center (ITEC) focused on Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
