Andy Land

Andy Land, General Manager, joined the CISO Executive Network in July 2016 to grow our network coverage in the Midwest and West. Andy has helped grow our network from 11 to 24 chapters. He currently manages and moderates 12 chapters. Prior to the CISO Executive Network Andy worked with security and privacy leaders to solve identity and access management, cloud security, data security, and privacy problems. He built and led product management and marketing teams at IBM Security, UnboundID, and Sun Microsystems. He spent a good chunk of his career leading teams that were making identity and access management solutions the reality they are today. He is an accomplished speaker having spoken on IAM, data security, and privacy at conferences such as the Gartner Security and Risk Management Summit, European Identity and Cloud Conference, Gartner Identity and Access Management Summit, and the IAPP Global Privacy Summit. Andy started his career as a US Navy officer serving on the USS Nicholson (DD-982) out of Charleston, South Carolina. He served as Communications Officer and then Main Propulsion Officer in his 3.5 years on the destroyer. Andy lives in Austin, Texas. His passions besides cybersecurity include scuba diving, watching his favorite sports teams, and spending time with his family and dog at home. He participates in a group very similar to our network called Austin Marketing Executives Network where he shares his experiences with his peers in Austin. So, peer to peer networking is in his blood.

Bill Sieglein - Founder

Bill Sieglein, Founder, is an expert advisor in the area of cybersecurity, information risk management, privacy and governance. He has directed security programs for numerous companies and has overseen the professional services organizations for security consulting firms. Bill served as the Chief Security Officer for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) the organization established by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Bill's career started in the US intelligence community where he pioneered the certification and accreditation process for the CIA and vastly improved information security awareness training at the NSA. Bill can put security into context, making information security complexities understandable. In addition to his work moderating roundtable and webinars, he appears on local radio and television commenting on incidents involving data security and privacy. Bill is an accomplished author with numerous credits, including a book entitled, "Security Planning & Disaster Recovery" by McGraw-Hill and many articles for CXO Media (CSO Magazine), CMP publications, Business Security Advisor Magazine, and others. Bill lives with his family in Baltimore, Maryland.

Chuck Meyo - CEO

A creative executive who builds great teams, creates differentiated strategies and is a motivational leader that inspires the determination to execute them.

Franklin Kessler

Franklin Kessler, our newest General Manager, joined CISO Executive Network in November of 2021 to develop and build CISOExecNet Chapters in the West. Prior to CISO Executive Network Franklin spent nearly 14 years building communities of CIOs & CISOs across North America for Evanta, a Gartner Company. His guiding principle was and is... "Collaboration is the key to economic prosperity." Franklin is an articulate and passionate speaker who founded his own voiceover business Frankly Speaking Voice Over in 2019 and enjoys moderating discussions with audiences ranging from the C-Level to entry level professionals. Franklin spent 9 years with Costco Wholesale's information technology division where he started as a technical trainer and moved into IT management roles from Technical Help Desk and PC Desktop support to IT Purchasing and IAM. Franklin lives in Vancouver, Washington with his wife and two teenage children. In addition to his passion for building C-Level relationships and communities, he loves spending time with his family supporting his children's sports careers, camping and traveling throughout the NW, and scuba diving in tropical locations.

Michael Hiskey - Chief Strategy Officer

Michael Hiskey is an author, blogger, moderator and speaker who has been in enterprise business-to-business (B2B) strategy and technology for over 20 years. His articles have been found all over, and he has made appearances on CNBC, C|Net, etc. Michael has primarily worked for software and services solutions providers, who solve for the challenges in the realms of cybersecurity, FinTech, data, analytics, cloud computing and AI. He has held Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) roles at Avanan, Semarchy, Socure, Kognitio, Trifacta, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Roles at CISO ExecNet, Data Connectors and Engagez, and executive leadership roles at MicroStrategy and IBM. Mr. Hiskey primarily led competitive analysis, market studies, demand generation, event strategy, field marketing, program management and detailed budget and strategy planning for those organizations and is delighted to have become a "full stack" marketing executive from those experiences. After starting his career in finance, Michael spent almost 10 years at IBM. Some notable efforts there included leading Subject Matter Expert (SME) Teams for Analytics, Data Warehouse Product Development, and Advanced Customer Support. Michael returned to the US in 2010 after a successful assignment in Brasil, where he helped grow the Software Lab and connected sales, partners and clients supporting Cognos, DB2 & Informix products. Michael is a graduate of the Columbia Business School in New York City. He is the husband of one current, and GirlDad to two future women in technology.
