Clare Brubacher

Clare Brubacher was determined to realize his dream of owning a business. So, after completing a stint in the plumbing and heating division of M. Weichel and Son in Waterloo during WW1, he purchased the company along with fellow coworker Charles Hemmerly in 1921. Clare became the sole owner two years later, showing his true ambition and entrepreneurship. With his determination and help from many hardworking employees, CJ Brubacher grew into the successful business it is today.

Clare's son, Ralph Brubacher, began working for his father's company in 1947 and ended up taking over the reins in 1965.
