Dominique is an Occupational Therapist with experience working in the pediatric outpatient clinic setting and virtually in schools. She is especially interested in sensory processing, as well as feeding, visual-motor-perceptual skills, and reflex integration. Dominique grew up in Tennessee and has lived in Texas and Nevada before discovering the friendly Midwest. She's enjoyed living in the Madison area since 2022. In her free time, she enjoys being active outside, making crafts and food inside, and hanging out with her spouse and pets.

Dwight is the Staff Accountant at Common Threads. He's a lifelong Wisconsinite. He graduated from Lakeland College with a BA in Accounting and MBA in Finance. His focus at Common Threads is financial stewardship through working with clients to resolve insurance issues; working with insurance companies to pay for services rendered; running payroll, and compiling financial reports. When not working, Dwight spends time with family, friends, and Charlie, his dog.

Hailey is a licensed certified occupational therapist with experience working with Autistics primarily in the pediatric population. She has worked in a therapeutic day school with high schoolers targeting transition skills to best prepare them for life after school. Hailey loves occupational therapy because it links science, psychology, and fun to be able to promote independence among her clients. Hailey earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from University of Wisconsin - Madison and her master's in occupational therapy from Lewis University in the Chicago suburbs. In her free time, Hailey enjoys participating in sprint triathlons with her friends and family!

Jesse has worked at Common Threads as a Classroom Support Specialist for 12 years. Having received his Bachelor's degree in elementary/middle education from UW-Whitewater, Jesse found his calling working with the students at Common Threads because he loves to help kids grow. In his free time, he enjoys coaching football, working on the farm, and hanging out with his family.

Kate serves as the Executive Director of Common Threads, overseeing the operations and strategy for the organization with a compassionate approach to leadership. With a passion for driving strategic initiatives and fostering meaningful connections, Kate has established herself as an empowering leader, lifelong learner, and vocal advocate. Kate holds a degree in Sociology and Communication Studies with emphasis in Organizational Communication and Public Relations from UW-La Crosse. She also has extensive professional experience in staff leadership, program development and management, marketing, and operational excellence. In addition to her professional commitments, Kate enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading, and doing anything on/in the water!

Lara's passion for supporting neurodivergent students drives her commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Maritza is the Operations Assistant and Intake Coordinator at Common Threads. She graduated with her Associate's Degree in Business Management and Web Software Development from Madison Area Technical College in 2024. With years of experience in customer service and administration, she excels at fostering positive relationships. Maritza is dedicated to helping individuals access the resources they need to improve their well-being. She believes in the importance of support and advocacy, striving to make a meaningful impact in her community. When she is not working, Maritza enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and cuddling her furry companions.

Michaela is the Clinical Director at Common Threads, overseeing all clinic team members. Michaela began her career with Common Threads as an Occupational Therapist and maintains some clients currently. Michaela graduated with her Master's degree from Indiana University in 2019. Her passion lies in working with Autistic and Neurodivergent clients and finds providing education and advocacy to be her area of strength.

Renee Jenkins is an accomplished special education teacher and school liaison and has been with Common Threads since 2021. She specializes in working directly with students to help them achieve their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and develop effective emotional regulation strategies. Renee holds a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and a MS in Special Education from Edgewood College.
Throughout her career, Renee has demonstrated a deep commitment to understanding and celebrating the unique interests and traits of neurodivergent individuals. She is passionate about the mission of Common Threads, believing that the work done here fosters autonomy and helps individuals grow into valuable members of the community, enriching it with diverse perspectives and experiences. Renee is married and a proud mother of four. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and being a dog mom to her black lab Dozer.

Robin is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of experience working with individuals who have a history of substance use disorders and trauma. Robin has a relational approach and believes that the individual is the expert in their lives. She provides support and guidance for her clients to get where they want to be. She utilizes several modalities in her work including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). When Robin is not in the office, she is usually out exploring Madison area activities with her family, visiting with friends, gardening, or watching hilarious animal videos on social media.
