EYE FOUNDATION

Danjuma Atta Eye Foundation (DAEF) is a non-profit and non-governmental Disabled People�s Organization (DPO), with the mission to prevent avoidable blindness and advocate for upholding the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities in Nigeria. Our goal is to ensure that the rights of persons with disabilities are protected and upheld while ensuring that their needs are mainstreamed into development planning and execution at all levels of governance. We prioritize our work with persons with disabilities who are poor and excluded in the society, while building the resilience capacity of especially the most marginalized persons with disabilities whether individuals, groups, associations, or community to withstand societal shocks and stresses.
