Advanced Combustion Energy Systems, Inc. (ACES) is a privately held company that was founded in 2003. Using aerospace technology to develop steam generation systems, ACES has patented and completed development of the Advanced Turbine Steam Generator (ATSG), a large scale (50 - 150+ MW) boiler for industrial and utility applications using oxy-combustion. The ATSG uses any gas, liquid, or solid hydrocarbons as a fuel with gaseous and liquid oxygen as the oxidizers to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
