Alexis Ovalle serves on the ECR team as a Property Assistant. She is responsible for assisting her team with various tasks and projects, as well as managing accounting.
With a strong background in Multifamily Property Management, Alexis has proven to be a talented communicator in her interactions. She has a history of assisting properties that are undergoing renovations, major Capex projects, and multisite properties anywhere between Killeen to Buda.
A background in Psychology, Communications, and Marketing, affords her the ability to be exposed to new markets, study them, and zero in on what will help the property thrive in that market.
As a born and raised Austinite, Alexis can be found with her family and dog, Chacho, enjoying Zilker Park or Mt. Bonell. She is fond of playing the violin with almost a decade's worth of experience.

We have worked with Haley Smith for several years on our office needs in the Austin Central Business District. She has assisted us in negotiating numerous leases for office space as well as subletting excess space we no longer needed. She has done an exceptionally good job for us. Angel Garcia is a highly experienced Building Engineer with over 25 years of expertise in building operations and maintenance. This includes construction trades, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems, and is a problem-solving engineer. With excellent interpersonal skills, Angel can effectively work with people from diverse backgrounds and provides the highest level of service and support to the buildings he maintains.
Angel is a native Austinite that loves to spend time with his family and outdoors in his kayak, fishing the local lakes and rivers.
Angela Parker brings over 20 years of accounting experience to ECR in the commercial property management industry, with a broad range of accounting from A/R and payables to financial reporting. She's excited to join the team and continue learning all aspects of property management operations.
Annika serves as the Marketing Coordinator for ECR's downtown Austin office. Both analytical and creative, she plans and schedules important visual content while improving marketing and communication processes. Before joining the ECR team, she earned her bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder with an emphasis in Marketing.
An artist at heart, Annika loves to sketch and paint, her favorite medium is either charcoal or fine ink. On weekends, you can catch her spending time with her friends, thrifting, as well as rock climbing.
Beth Tidwell serves the property management team as a portfolio Property Assistant. She provides support on a variety of projects. With a background in flexible workspace operations and management, she enjoys the variety commercial real estate offers.
When she's not in the office, Beth likes spending time gardening, hiking, camping, and cooking. She has 3 chickens and two dogs.
After over four years of overseeing the day-to-day accounting needs of ECR Management and our portfolio of managed properties, Brent Boyer was promoted to Controller, overseeing the financial needs of both ECR and ECR Management. He brings over 30 years of financial and managerial accounting experience in a variety of industries. This makes him uniquely qualified to manage all financial aspects of ECR's business.
A self-described explorer, Brent enjoys travel, the outdoors, and new experiences. He first moved to Austin in the mid-'90s and takes advantage of the music, cycling, and other recreational activities the city has to offer.
As a Property Accountant, Carrie Wilcox is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting including accounts payable and receivables.
Carrie enjoys the live music scene in Austin, as well as spending time with friends and family.
As a Property Manager, Danielle Black brings to our team over 17 years of experience in property and facilities management. Prior to joining ECR, Danielle worked on a core team of three that managed 2.8 million SF of industrial assets for institutional and private groups in Phoenix. As well as on a core team of four that managed 2 million SF of Class A office product in the Silicon Valley.
When not at work, Danielle can be found spending time with her family (including 4 cats), reading, doing outdoor activities, and getting tattooed.
David is known for his attention to detail, integrity, creative problem-solving skills, and his commitment to exceeding client expectations. He rejoined ECR in 2019 to help continue building their tenant and buyer representation practices. David has focused on the Austin office market for 15+ years, bringing in-depth knowledge and expertise to the team. To ensure each client reaches the optimum solution for their real estate requirements, David combines an in-depth analysis of each client's business objectives and facility requirements with market knowledge, financial analysis, and intensive negotiation skills.
David holds an M.B.A from St. Edward's University and a B.S. in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a proud parent of two boys, a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, and an avid mountain biker, runner, hunter, and fisher.
Diana Marmolejo de Arellano serves as a Senior Property Manager I for ECR Management on a portfolio of properties including office and industrial product types. Diana brings to our team over 15 years of experience in commercial property management services. Her background includes the management of multiple national and international commercial properties including office, retail, medical office, industrial, and mixed-use developments. Her super strength includes making tenants smile.
Diana received her dual degree from Texas Tech University in Business Management and Marketing. Diana also received her Pastry Chef Certification from the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts.
In her free time, Diana enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cycling, cooking, and volunteering with various Austin organizations.
Erica Zielinski is the first smiling face seen upon entering ECR. Wearing many hats, she supports the team as the Office Assistant. Formally a teacher in the Austin area, Erica is excited to grow within in a new field.
Going for a hike along the greenbelt, reading, and watching horror movies are some of the activities that Erica enjoys outside of the office.
As Lead Engineer, Freddy Martinez provides routine building maintenance for ECR Management's portfolio. Prior to joining the team, Freddy was an HVAC specialist and with that training, he brings extensive knowledge in maintaining, repairing, servicing, and replacing HVAC systems. This combined with his keen ability to solve problems and offer excellent customer service makes him distinctly qualified for the maintenance engineer role.
When not at work, Freddy can be found spending time with his family, gardening, cooking, and going on bike rides with his children.

Haley Smith has provided commercial real estate services for ECR since 2013 and specializes in office leasing and tenant representation. As a commercial broker, Haley helps clients negotiate contracts including new leases, expansions, renewals, buyouts, purchases, subleases, and relocations. Haley works with both office and medical tenants. Haley has been named multiple times by the Austin Business Journal as a "Heavy Hitter" in addition to being featured in the Austin Business Journal's "Profiles in Power" list and as an "Austin Under 40" nominee.
Outside of ECR, Haley is on the board of the Make-A-Wish Austin Regional Board where she helps grant over 300 wishes per year for Central Texas families. Haley was previously on the board of the Commercial Brokers Association and she is also involved in Ronald McDonald Charities as well as Africa New Life Ministries. Haley received her B.A.S from Indiana University, where she studied Communications and Marketing.
Haley Smith was awesome working with us in finding a new office space. We had very specific needs that limited the possibilities for us. She worked diligently to find us something that exactly fit our needs. Then she was instrumental in getting the lease negotiated and keeping things on track so we could meet our deadline for moving. Hannah Huskey serves as the Research Analyst for ECR. In this role, Hannah provides support to the brokerage and marketing teams by collecting, analyzing, and distributing various commercial real estate information within the Austin market.
Prior to joining the team, Hannah worked as a Team Operations Specialist for a top-performing commercial real estate team in Winston-Salem, NC. Hannah received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Salem College and is currently working to obtain her Texas Real Estate License.
Outside of ECR, Hannah enjoys exploring Austin, craft breweries, coffee shops, and spending time outside with her two dogs.
Hayden McCarty's focus is on assisting companies and healthcare providers with their office space and facility needs. In his role as a Brokerage Advisor, Hayden assists clients negotiate and strategize leases, renewals, acquisitions and sales.
Prior to becoming a commercial broker, Hayden served as ECR's Market Research Analyst where he supported the brokerage team by monitoring the market, creating and distributing market information and providing in-depth analysis. Before ECR, Hayden worked for two commercial real estate companies; a general contractor charged with the oversight and coordination of medical office finish-out and the other a local, reputable developer responsible for the lease-up and eventual renovation of the old AMD campus in Austin, Texas.
Hayden is a native Austinite and enjoys live music, golf, traveling and spending time with his dog, Benelli.
Isaac Gutierrez serves as a Brokerage Advisor for ECR. He provides commercial real estate brokerage solutions to office property owners and tenants.
Isaac is a San Antonio native with years of market research experience and time as a licensed real estate agent. At The University of Texas at San Antonio, Isaac graduated from the College of Business with degrees in Finance and Real Estate Finance & Development.
In his spare time, Isaac enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with family.
Jason Steinberg specializes in representing businesses with new and existing office projects. Jason has provided leasing and sales services since 2008 and prior to joining ECR in 2010, Jason worked at a local commercial construction firm.
Jason has successfully completed more than 1,100 real estate deals totaling more than $1,000,000,000 in value. He is annually recognized as an Austin Business Journal "Heavy Hitter" and received the SIOR Designation in 2016.
Jason is involved with the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA), Austin Diaper Bank, Sammy's House, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), and the Jewish Community Association of Austin.
Jason received a B.A. degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Jason and his wife, Allison, have two young children and live in Austin's Northwest Hills neighborhood.
Jeff Steele started his career as a building maintenance technician over 35 years ago. Immediately, he loved learning about how a building operates. For the past 30 years, Jeff has worked as the building engineer at 823 Congress, a Class-A high rise office building in downtown Austin. In addition to 823 Congress, his experience also includes the maintenance of mixed-use properties along with various office buildings, primarily located in downtown Austin.
In Jeff's current role as Lead Engineer with ECR Management, he oversees all daily maintenance operations for 823 Congress as well as building renovations, chiller replacements, modernizations of HVAC control systems, elevator mods and other various projects.
Outside of work, Jeff is involved in his church community and enjoys assisting in projects for the elderly, disaster relief, as well as the Women's Center. In his spare time, he enjoys baseball and anything Longhorns related. Jeff is also a long-suffering Cleveland Indians fan.

Jennifer James provides commercial real estate brokerage solutions to office and industrial property owners and tenants. She helps clients negotiate contracts including new leases, expansions, renewals, terminations, purchases, subleases, and office relocations. Jennifer utilizes her strong organizational and analytical skills to help clients reach their goals with the best possible terms. She is persistent, detail-oriented and will always go the extra mile for her clients.
Prior to becoming a commercial broker, Jennifer joined the ECR team in January 2018 as ECR's Research Analyst. Jennifer provided support to the ECR brokerage team by tracking commercial real estate market information and reporting market data. Before ECR, Jennifer graduated as a triple major from Baylor University in December 2017 with a B.B.A in Economics, Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation, and Real Estate. Jennifer is a member of the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) and as an Austin native, she loves to spend time enjoying all the city has to offer, from live music downtown to boating on the lake.
Jennifer Schwartz provides assistance to ECR's Brokerage Team. She can be found compiling property information, creating tour packets, and coordinating property signage. She also helps coordinate ECR Serves, our philanthropic committee within the company. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of New England. Even though she's no longer working with animals, she still applies the same skills she learned to help prioritize tasks and keep everything organized.
When she is not working, Jennifer enjoys reading, hiking, and finding the best food in the city with her husband and son.

Jessie Frank serves as a Property Manager for ECR Management overseeing a portfolio of office properties in downtown and north Austin. Prior to working at ECR Jessie obtained her bachelor's degree in International Business from Oregon State University.
Upon moving from Portland, OR to Austin, TX in 2014 she made the transition from residential to commercial real estate. Jessie's 15 years of combined knowledge and experience on both sides of the real estate industry makes her an asset to clients, tenants, and ECR. Jessie is well versed in acquisitions, dispositions, project management, and financial reporting.
Whether it be camping, biking, paddle boarding, or beach trips you can find Jessie outdoors with her husband and two rescue dogs when not at the office. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and entertaining.

Jonathan Miller is an Assistant Project Manager with ECR. He assists in the management of a variety of projects and helps see the construction process from preplanning to closeout. Jonathan works alongside the construction team to ensure the project is completed in a timely fashion, with excellent communication and customer service.
He is a graduate of Texas State University with a BA in English, and an emphasis on Media Studies. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys studying theater, watching live music and comedy, and spending time with his dog, Bucky.

Jose joined ECR Management as Maintenance Engineer for Norwood Tower, where he has been involved in building operations for over 10 years. His experience in building maintenance, general curiosity, and problem-solving skills make him uniquely qualified to address the many various needs of a historical building such as Norwood Tower.
Joshua has actively managed the success of over 390,000 square feet and dozens of acres of commercial real estate transactions, exceeding $35 million in total value. His primary focus is within the industrial, office, and land markets of Central Texas. Whether his clients are pursuing an acquisition, disposition (sale), or lease, he makes it his goal to identify obstacles before they become issues and provide guidance for his clients. This is accomplished by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the state and local markets and providing estimated economics behind each opportunity.
Julia Yanes serves the property management team as a Property Assistant. She has a background in HOA management. With this experience, she is well-versed in managing tenant requests and maintaining good relationships with vendors and clients.
When she's not in the office, Julia likes spending her time floating the river with her family, going to the lake, and being outdoors.

Latisha Brown serves the ECR Management team as a portfolio Property Assistant. In this role, she is responsible for administering and implementing day-to-day property operations and functions of the Management Division which include accounts payables, account receivables, lease administration, and work orders.
Before joining the ECR team, Latisha earned her BS in Animal Science at Sam Houston State University. She spent time as an accounting lead and assistant property manager in Houston Texas. When she is not in the office, Latisha enjoys hiking, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends outdoors.
Matt Fain provides commercial real estate brokerage services for ECR specializing in office and industrial space leasing. He is also active in investment sales assisting buyers and ownership groups with their acquisition and disposition requirements.
Matt has a strong drive and passion for assisting his clients to fulfill their commercial real estate needs through his strong work ethic and personal attention to his clients' requirements. Matt is a native Austinite with extensive market knowledge of Travis county and has been active in the commercial real estate business since 2004.
Matt Levin provides commercial real estate brokerage services with a focus and expertise for office product type. Through Mr. Levin's deep experience having completed over 1,000 transactions, hard-work, and passion for commercial real estate services, he has helped many of Austin's premier property owners and businesses successfully reach their commercial real estate goals.
Professionally, Matt is the past President of the Commercial Leasing Brokers Association, the past Membership Chair for the Real Estate Council of Austin, a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, and a former Board Member and Community Chair for the Austin Entrepreneurs Organization. Further, Mr. Levin is acknowledged on the Austin Business Journal's Heavy Hitters List for the top office leasing commercial real estate brokers every year.
