Benoit Latteur

Engineer, with a Master's degree in Science Management IAG, Benoit began his career as business development manager in the IT and telecommunications sectors. In 1996, he oriented his career in the pharmaceutical supply chain. Thanks to his diverse executive positions in a wholesaler, he created an Interest Economics Group of pharmacists. In 1999, he set up a pre-wholesaling company and then joined the CSP group in 2011. With his excellent knowledge in technology and the Benelux pharmaceutical sector, Benoit has appointed for the management and the supervision of the business development of CSP Benelux since 2013.

Birgit Peeters - Treasurer

Birgit Peeters graduated in 1993 as Commercial Engineer and next to a strong background in Finance and Administration she brings +20 years of extensive leadership and communication skills to EALTH. Birgit Peeters started her career in Finance in the media industry, where she became CFO in 2007. During her time in several Media companies (Sanoma, Truvo, FCR Media) she also held executive level positions in HR, Operations and General Management. In 2020, Birgit decided to change industry and joined the Walden group to become CFO of Eurotranspharma. She is also CFO for the Benelux entities of Ciblex, another business unit in the Walden Organization. Birgit was appointed EALTH treasurer in August 2021.

Eddy De Vita

With over 20 years experience in the healthcare logistics industry, Eddy De Vita has a strong background encompassing business development, strategic direction and operations. Eddy De Vita started his career in 1991 in Pharma Logistics, his family company, working in the commercial area as well as in the operations. From there he also founded EPL (Euro Pharma Logistics), a consortium of healthcare logistic providers operating across Europe, with the aim to act as main partner for pharmaceutical industries offering integrated supply chain solutions across Europe. Whilst at Pharma Logistics he led the acquisition of Belgian Pharma Logistics company, creating one of the key players in Europe and subsequently transitioning this into British Exel Group. In 2005, Eddy De Vita was appointed Managing Director of Exel Italy Contract Logistics and in 2006 fronted the DHL-EXEL Italy merger to DHL Exel Supply Chain Italy. In 2011, he finalized the acquisition of Eurodifarm, the Italian market leader in temperature controlled transport for pharmaceutical, diagnostics products and medical devices for DHL Supply Chain. In addition to his role of Managing Director for DHL Supply Chain Italy, in 2011 he was appointed to the position of Managing Director for DHL Supply Chain's Life Sciences & Healthcare sector across Europe. Eddy De Vita also serves as Vice President on EALTH (European Association for Healthcare Logistics and transport). After the International Baccalaureate in Geneva, Eddy continued his studies focused on economy, pharmacy and law.

Mario Johnson

Mario has over 18 years of experience in services to the healthcare industry in various Commercial and General Management roles. This includes 3rd party Logistics and Commercial services. After 11 years with DHL, Mario moved to the Alliance Boots group in 2004 initially in a Business Development role within the UK wholesale business. During this period, Mario led the development of the new distribution model and a channel diversification strategy. In 2006, Mario joined the project team for the Alliance UniChem & Boots merger and led the wholesale workstream. This included representing Alliance Boots for all the regulatory aspects of the merger and post-merger and managing key integration work streams. In 2008, Mario joined Alliance Boots' contract logistics business, Alloga, as Commercial Director then General Manager responsible for the development of the business across Europe. Highlights included the implementation of the business across multi markets, new services and the development of the Alloga European offer. In 2012, Mario's was promoted to Manufacturer Services and Key Account Director responsible for all the development of all the Manufacturer Services of Alliance Boots and the newly created Key Account function. Mario is married with 3 children and lives in East Sussex, UK. Mario is a Healthcare and Life Sciences services and distribution executive with extensive experience in senior $1bn+ P&L accountable roles. He has a strong track record of having led enterprise wide change, large scale integrations and directing multi country commercial and operational teams developing new capabilities and business models. His International experience across multi-disciplinary, cross cultural teams has enabled him to him successfully lead and deliver the achievement of key strategic objectives through recruiting and developing talent to build aligned, motivated teams. Mario is outcome focused, with excellent strategic skills combined with a hands on approach. Mario currently heads Alliance Healthcare's Services businesses which includes their 3PL Alloga.
