I have been involved in the golf industry for most of my life, unknowingly beginning my career working at a local club in high school. This early exposure to course maintenance catapulted me into a career path I enjoy and take great pride in each day... While I grew up in Wisconsin, I felt my best opportunity for a career in golf was at Kansas State University, due to their new Golf Management Program which offered training in multiple disciplines. Thus began my professional experience in turfgrass management, and I haven't looked back since... Over the course of my time in the industry, I've had the honor to work at several fantastic facilities. My first club was none other than the Tom Fazio gem in Kansas City, Hallbrook Country Club. Next on the list was Wolf Creek Golf Links, Tom Watson's home course also located in Kansas City. I then decided to return home to Wisconsin, at North Shore Country Club outside Milwaukee.
