Ami Kaye

Ami's poems, reviews and articles have appeared in various publications. As publisher for Glass Lyre Press, and editor of Pirene's Fountain and the Aeolian Harp Series, she has guided numerous books, chapbooks, and anthologies to print. She has also published benefit anthologies: Sunrise from Blue Thunder (Japan 2011 disasters), Carrying the Branch: Poets in Search of Peace, and recently, Collateral Damage, for disadvantaged children.

Lark Vernon Timmons

Lark is a native Texan, born and raised in the beautiful desert Southwest. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and taught in the primary grades for 20 years. She credits her maternal grandfather, a scholarly Southern gentleman and 50's Midwest newspaper editor who recited Shakespeare; and her father, a local author-historian, jazz pianist and Professor Emeritus, for her lifelong love and respect for written language. As a member of the Pirene's Fountain editing team since it's inception in 2008, Lark has lent her voice to PF's philosophy and long term vision, assisted in creating awards to recognize poetic excellence, showcased and interviewed contemporary poets for PF features online and in print, and read and evaluated writer's submissions for publication. She is pleased and proud to be part of the ever-evolving PF Journal of Poetry and it's publishing partner, Glass Lyre Press.

Linda E. Kim

Linda works in the Chicagoland area as a writer and editor with previous publishing experience at Third World Press. She graduated from Knox College with degrees in Creative Writing and Film Studies. Linda is a member of the Glass Lyre editing team, and a reviewer for Pirene's Fountain. She also assists the Managing Editor with day-to-day operations of the company. By keeping herself involved in Chicago's literary art scene and winning prose competitions, she became a Fellow in Creative Writing at the Luminarts Cultural Foundation. To this day she continues to avidly read and write fiction, nonfiction, lyrical essays, screenplays, and poetry.

Paul S. Kim

Paul is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a B.A. in English Secondary Education and a professional license to teach English at the middle and high school level. Paul handles Glass Lyre social media needs and helps copy edit pre-publication galleys and create promotional material. Paul also assists the press with research and other tasks. As someone who is a fan of poetry, he is happy to be working for Glass Lyre Press. He currently lives in Glenview, Illinois.

Royce Hamel

Royce Hamel is a cum laude graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Fiction Writing. She is a freelance writer and novelist. Royce reviews and edits for Glass Lyre Press & Pirene's Fountain, and is the project manager of the Aeolian Harp Series and Collateral Damage. She pitches in enthusiastically with all the Glass Lyre events. Royce is currently working on several novels involving sci-fi, fantasy, and survival at all costs.

Steven Asmussen

Steve Asmussen grew up in Chicagoland, and has a degree in Electronics and Computer Technology. Steve has laid out numerous Glass Lyre Books, including "First Water" from Pirene's Fountain, along with all of PF's print issues. Steve creates all graphic materials for the press, and designs the Glass Lyre book covers and promotional material. He also manages all offsite press events. Besides working round the clock on production alongside the publisher, and overseeing the printing and distributing issues, he also manages the operational side of the business. Steve loves to read and write and cook - sometimes all three at once. He currently lives in Des Plaines, Illinois.

Tracy McQueen

  • Digital Media Specialist With Her Bachelor of Fine Arts
Tracy is an extremely talented digital media specialist with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The American Academy of Art. She has been with GLP since its founding and has provided many of the covers seen in publication, and artwork for the Pirene's Fountain poetry journal. Some of her more recent contributions include the art for the Aeolian Harp Series, "Collateral Damage" anthology, Habeas Corpus by Cindy Hochman, and Femme Eterna by Lyn Lifshin. Tracy has and will continue to be an integral part of the Glass Lyre team.
