GRAMEEN HEALTH CARE SERVICES

GHS established its first eye hospital in 2007 at Bogura, a northern district of Bangladesh about 220 km from the capital city Dhaka. In 2009, GHS established second eye hospital at Rupatali in Barishal District about 260 km south from Dhaka. Both the hospitals are named Grameen GC (Green Children) Eye Hospital as Green Children Foundation, USA has contributed half million US Dollar for each of the hospitals. The third hospital of GHS was established in March, 2013 at Thakurgaon, about 419 km from Dhaka, named Grameen Eye Hospital, Thakurgaon. The Forth hospital of GHS was established in September, 2020 at Satkhira, about 261 km from Dhaka, named Grameen Eye Hospital, Satkhira... At present, GHS is operating four eye hospitals, fourteen primary eye care centers, a surface water treatment plant and a nursing college... Grameen Eye Care Center is a primary eye care center. These centers are providing eye care services through telemedicine system. Patients from remote and rural areas..
