After the war, he began using his skills in the business community and soon had a varied and extensive group of clients. Dean based his business practices on good old fashioned values like hard work, honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. In 1978 as he was nearing retirement, he decided to seek out someone qualified to take over his company. That is when Dean met Greg Campbell at an Indiana Pest Management Association (IPMA) meeting.
