It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Italian-American Bar Association of Michigan. I am honored to serve as your president for the 2022-2023 year. First founded in 1931 as the ‘Italian Lawyers Club of Michigan,' today the ‘Italian-American Bar Association of Michigan' (IABAM) remains one of the oldest and largest ethnic bar associations in the country. It is a charitable organization comprised of individuals who are leaders within the legal profession and within their communities. Members of our organization are proud of their Italian heritage and who seek to advance Italian-Americans both professionally and personally. Our members maintain a standard and commitment to excellence which fuels our association's continued success. Membership in the IABAM is more than just a series of delicious dinner meetings.
