INSPIRE MEDICAL - Key Persons

​Dr. Kamille Merz (formerly Dr. Ziegenhorn) completed her undergraduate studies at William Jewell College and then earned her Medical Degree at the University of Kansas where she also completed her residency training. She is a Board Certified Family Physician and worked in primary care for 13 years. In 2006 Dr. Merz decided to take a different path in her career so she could enjoy more time with her family. She began working part-time (or not-so-part-time!) at urgent care clinics. While urgent care and facial aesthetics may seem an odd combination, Dr. Merz found herself drawn to the idea of skin care and helping people look as young as they feel. In 2006 she began training in various facial aesthetic procedures and started working as the medical director and injector for a medical spa located in Shawnee, Kansas. She continued in that position until 2011 and feels she has gained a tremendous amount of experience.
