Hal is the owner of Landers Insurance Agency LLC. He started his independent agency in Columbia TN in May 2002 from scratch. Prior to this he spent three years in Franklin, TN as the owner of a captive insurance agency. As a native of Maury County Hal always knew Columbia was where he wanted to have his agency. Throughout the past 19 years, Landers Insurance Agency has been awarded numerous company production awards in personal, commercial, and Life Insurance. "I am only as good as the people I have around me. I owe a great gratitude to the people that have helped me build my agency into what it is today" says Hal. Outside of the daily operations of the insurance agency, Hal is involved with several men's groups that help with community oriented projects. Hal enjoys living an active lifestyle that includes travelling and experiencing new places, going to the gym, and being outdoors as much as possible. He enjoys cooking meals for others and spending as much time as possible with friends and family. Hal has two beautiful daughters, Maggy Lynn and Farrar that are his passion and his strength.​

Lexy joined the Landers Insurance Agency family in March of 2022. Lexy specializes in commercial and life insurance. Lexy has worked in the insurance industry for 5 years prior to joining Landers Insurance Agency and becoming licensed. Originally from Oregon, she moved to Tennessee the day after graduation to be closer the Walking Horse Industry and to train and show Walking Horses. Lexy and her husband Jake reside on a small farm in Flat Creek, Bedford County. Most of her free time is spent with their young 3 children or trail riding with friends. Lexy loves getting to know local business in Maury and surrounding counties and is excited to be a part of the Landers Insurance Family.

Sandy has been with the Landers Insurance Agency since May 2019. Sandy works closely with clients on personal auto, home, life, and commercial insurance. She has been a part of the Columbia, Maury County community for many years. Her father is a retired Army, Command Sargent Major and she has had the privilege of growing up all over the world. Sandy is our resident storyteller. Her life experiences allows her to entertain our team and clients with intriguing stories. Sandy moved to Culleoka, after graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She and her husband, John, live on his family farm with their two daughters Lili and Larkin who both graduated from Columbia Central High School.

Susan has been with Landers Insurance Agency since May of 2019. Susan wears many hats at Landers Insurance Agency. She is our in-house claims coordinator, working closely with our clients and carriers to have claims completed in a timely manner. Susan focuses on life insurance but also works with clients on their personal and commercial insurance. Susan lives in Shelbyville, Bedford County with her husband Scott. Together they entertain 7 children and 13 grandchildren. Susan has been a part of our "Mule" community in the past. She and her children have enjoyed taking home blue ribbons showing gaited mules during past Mule Day Celebrations.

Tonia has been with Landers Insurance Agency since July 2019. Tonia is the first smile you see when you walk into Landers Insurance and the voice on the phone when you call our office. Most importantly she is the glue that keeps our agency running smooth. Fun fact, Tonia served Maury County as Miss Black Maury County in 1989/1990. Tonia is a Columbia native and a proud Mom of present and former Columbia Central High School football and baseball players. You will normally find her under the lights cheering..... GO LIONS!!!

Vanessa has been with our team since September 2018. Vanessa works with our non-standard carriers and specializes in hard to place automobile insurance. Vanessa brings multi culture to our team as she is bi-lingual and proudly services the Hispanic community. While with Landers Insurance, she studied and achieved her United States Citizenship. Vanessa and her husband live in Spring Hill with their 3 children. They enjoy watching their son play baseball and their daughters perform gymnastics.
