Lowcountry Eye Specialists, also known as The Cataract and Laser Center of Charleston, is the comprehensive ophthalmology practice of Dr Jay Thompson. Just off the I-26, we are located near the intersection of Ladson Road and Highway 78, convenient to the greater North Charleston, Summerville, Ladson, Goose Creek, Hanahan, and Moncks Corner areas... We make every attempt to have same day appointments available for emergency or urgent cases. In addition, Dr Thompson keeps an open line of communication with his patients' other doctors, sharing all pertinent findings, his treatment plan, and even makes his cell number available to all of his patients and referring doctors so that they can call him at night or on weekends with any questions or concerns.
