A keen runner himself, Alex has a particular interest in the treatment and ongoing management of endurance sport injuries. He places a strong emphasis on an individualised approach to treatment with a focus on performance and prevention of re-injury in addition to symptomatic relief. In recent years Alex has utilised these skills as a provider of physiotherapy services under the NDIS. He has gained extensive physiotherapy experience in a range of areas, including musculoskeletal outpatient and post-operative rehabilitation. Hugo enjoys all things sports and fitness, and has a strong passion for promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Hugo excels in the gym and is well equipped to help create, monitor and progress your rehabilitation program. He prides himself on understanding various types of injuries and providing patients with strategies to reach their individual goals.

Jacob Hemingway

Jacob has been with the Lisarow Physiotherapy team since 2021 following five years working in a rural hospital. Jacob has acquired extensive knowledge in acute injury care and post-operative rehabilitation, as well as experience in casting, splinting and plastering. In addition Jacob has completed post graduate training in lymphoedema management and is our go to for lymphoedema treatment and garment prescription. Jacob has a particular interest in all things golf and soccer injuries and has a passion for helping all level of athletes successfully return to sport. The part of Physiotherapy Jacob most enjoys is building working relationships with clients to develop strategies and treatment plans to best achieve their goals. Jacob is currently studying a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with La Trobe University, and is passionate about keeping up to date with the latest research in managing injuries and pain.

Nathan Wood

Nathan is the longest serving member of the Lisarow Physio group with over 15 years of experience servicing the needs of local families in Lisarow. During this time, Nathan has established strong and meaningful relationships within the community through GP's, specialists, sporting organisations and aged care facilities. Nathan has a special interest in treating complex head and neck pain, cervicogenic headaches, vertigo disorders and TMJ (jaw) disorders. Any physiotherapy needs from the neck up, Nathan is your man. Nathan has gone on to complete all levels of the internationally renowned GEMt deep dry needling training. Nathan's passion and skill in deep dry needling has seen him assist and mentor physiotherapists in these techniques with the GEMt group. Nathan thrives on the challenging musculoskeletal cases. He loves diving deep into problems to get to the bottom of your pain and in doing so, providing the quickest pathway to full recovery.
