Dr. Alshareef is a foreign graduate from Damascus University. In 2000, with the express intent of advancing his education and his skill, he moved to the United States. He attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry from 2006 to 2008, and participated in the Advanced Education General Dentistry program, graduating with a 3.8 GPA and a Certificate of Outstanding Performance.
Dr. Alshareef is dedicated to the best patient care and pursues additional training opportunities to remain at the top level of education in order to ensure the most comprehensive treatment options. Dr. Alshareef has been practicing dentistry in the Central Florida area for the past 5 years.
Since graduation Dr. Alshareef has obtained numerous continuing educational credits and he always looks forward to new technology and what is next in dentistry. His dedication to creating a comfortable environment does not end in the waiting room, from the first phone call to any service provided as his patient, you are his top priority. His education allows him to keep his patients educated to the services they want or require to add to the level of comfort and care each person receives.
Dr. Alshareef is married to his wife Kelly who helps him a lot in the office, yet she takes care of their precious little girl Leann. In his free time he enjoys fishing, football, soccer and watching movies.
Dr. Gemma Velez moved to the Orlando area after she completed a post-graduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University and the NY Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Prior to moving to NY, she graduated with honors from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree. She's been practicing in the Orlando area for two decades.
Dr. Velez is a dentist licensed by the Florida State Board of Dentistry and holds memberships with Professional organizations including the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Central Florida District Dental Society.
Dr. Velez's area of expertise includes cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, crowns, bridges, root canal treatment, extractions, surgical procedures, removable partials ,and complete dentures. She has extensive training in complex and advanced oral and dental conditions. She's well known for her caring and gentle approach to her patients.
Dr. Velez enjoys exercising traveling outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends. But her proudest accomplishment is her children.
