Jennifer Coleman earned a B.S.N from Florida State University. She was valedictorian of her class, graduating with a Masters of Skilled Nursing with a concentraion in family practice from the University of Tampa. She was presented with the Academic Award of Excellence from the President of the University of Tampa and the Dean of Nursing. She is a nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Formerly a nurse at Saint Joseph's Children's Hospital, Ms. Coleman worked in the pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric cardiac surgical unit, and neonatal intensive care unit. She was also a team leader and performed quality assurance services and computer education while employed in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Shriner's Hospital For Children.
