The Mount Tabor UMC Weekday Preschool began in the Fall of 1972 as a mother's morning out program. With 50 years of loving and caring for children, we are passionate about carrying out our mission... Mt. Tabor Preschool is a wonderful place to work! I enjoy greeting the children each morning, visiting the classrooms, and hearing the staff share all the amazing stories about their students. I grew up in the Pfafftown community and ended up living in the same area after college. I graduated from UNCC with a B.A. in Human Development and Learning with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I have been fortunate to work in my field for over 30 years. I took a few years off when my son was born to stay home with him. Our goal at Mt. Tabor Preschool is to create the best possible learning environment for our preschoolers. As a staff we strive to nurture each child to help them grow academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We meet regularly to develop new and exciting..
