Dr. Jorge Esteves

Jorge Esteves is an osteopath and cognitive scientist with special interest in chronic musculoskeletal pain. He is currently a Professor of Osteopathy and Vice-Principal (Education and Research) at Malta ICOM Educational, Honorary Professor at the University College of Osteopathy in London, and researcher with Collaboration for Osteopathic Medicine Research in Italy. Previously, he held the role as the Head of Research at the University College of Osteopathy (previously the British School of Osteopathy) in London, as a non-executive council member of the UK's General Osteopathic Council, and osteopathy subject reviewer for the United Kingdom's Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). He was also a Senior Lecturer in Osteopathy at Oxford Brookes University in the UK and an Associate Professor at Piaget Institute in Portugal.​ In 2011, he completed his PhD at Oxford Brookes University. The research focused on examining diagnostic palpation in osteopathy and developing neurocognitive models of expertise. Jorge is also an Associate Editor for the International Journal for Osteopathic Medicine, member of the Board of Trustees of the Collaboration for Osteopathic Medicine Research, and collaborator in a number of research projects. A sought after and inspiring educator , he lectures at various schools worldwide. Fun fact: Jorge is a competitive fencer.

Olga Colombo

Olga Colombo graduated with Distinction from the University College of Osteopathy in London, UK. She has an international career spanning between the UK and Singapore, through which she has been able to learn several innovative approaches and philosophies regarding Osteopathy and pain management and where she also had the opportunity to work with several prominent Asian personalities. Olga's approach takes all aspects of the patient into consideration (from the body, to the mind, to nutrition, to lifestyle). Her treatments, developed on the basis of scientific evidence, are a combination of manual therapy, exercises and advice for lifestyle improvement according to the patient's needs and preferences. She has particular interest in functional rehabilitation which is aimed to obtain an effective and complete care of the patient, gaining a better lifestyle. Olga treats adults of all ages, pregnant women (from the 4th month onwards) and children (from 5 years upwards). She also has a qualifications in Sport massage therapy and has done several post-qualification courses to enhance her knowledge and abilities: Sport Trauma Management, Osteopathic Functional Neuromuscular Rehabilitation, Harmonic Technique Course, Taping Course, Spinal and Peripheral Joint Manipulation Course and Gray Institute CAFS Course.

Robert Grech

Clinic founder Robert originally qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Malta in 2005 with a main clinical interest in Musculoskeletal Medicine. After coming across the work of osteopaths during his postgraduate studies in London and seeing the profound effects on patients, he embarked on a journey to become a qualified Osteopath himself and obtained his second Bachelor's degree in Osteopathy at the London School of Osteopathy in 2010. Robert worked at leading clinics across the British capital before introducing the osteopathic profession to Malta in 2012. His clinical interests include lower back conditions, running injuries, dry needling and myofascial trigger points. Robert is currently reading for a Master's degree in Osteopathy at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsikni, Finland.
